At present, there are 31 UN member states that do not recognize the State of Israel or do not maintain diplomatic relations with it, in general or in part: 18 of the 22 UN member states are in the Arab League: Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Iraq. Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Syria.
