Tim pool has this one trick he does though i like alot. Hes really good at those hang ten tricks and he has this one where its like a Hang Ten Nollie Pressure Hardflip landing Switch. You pretty much would need to know how to do nollie pressure hard flip body varial. Then learn how to do it out of the hang ten stance. Its a incredibly stupid trick but its right up my alley. Having met Felipe at two demos one a decade ago and another in recent times. He has both times came off the same. Favourite: Josh Kalis, grew up watching him and Stevie Williams, had a Kalis dgk deck as my first and was honestly one of the best board set ups I ever made. Least favourite: honestly don’t really have one, I get why people dislike certain skaters and yeah there’s certain styles of skaters I’m not a huge fan of, and what certain skaters do in their personal life I’m not always a fan of either but, skateboarding is skateboarding, it would suck if everyone was the same.

My least favorite skateboarders are those who like to gate keep what is cool or popular and what isn’t. Those who like to politicize skateboarding. Those who like to bully beginners, or 8 year old scooter kids when their mom is the one to blame texting on her phone not paying attention from the side of the park. Fav - So many, but right now I'm gonna say Louie Lopez. Least - Nyjah. Robotic and soulless style. His character screams "I have to be #1 and I want money". Lopez's character for example screams passion and pure skate rat. Noteable recent Fav - Aimu Yamazuki. This dude is all smiles, with a pretty robotic style tbh, but in a much different way to Nyjah. He's an absolute BEAST and just seems like such a humble and happy dude.

The only argument Nyjah haters have against him is "his style isn't good" or "he's a sellout" (the sellout folks are just jealous of him) - well, first, his style actually isn't bad, he actually looks good on the board and his makes are flawless. Compare say Nyjah to Giovanni Vianna, Nyjah looks godlike in comparison as Giovanni has a horrible style, regardless of the technical cab back smiths etc Giovanni does, his skating is ugly to watch (I am not saying that what Giovanni does is anything other than absolute insane limit pushing crazy skating, I've seen him do tricks that I would not believe possible for a human being to perform btw) But Nyjah's style has just been improving year on year. Secondly, you need to be a world class athlete to absorb the impacts and ride away from the tricks Nyjah does, he doesn't half ass stuff, his clips require physical poundings, repeatedly, like an NFL linebacker.... I can almost guarantee that not one single person that views this clip (except for Nyjah) has the work ethic and mental strength to achieve what that man has done in his life. Nyjah Houston is what is known as an outlier - a human that has certain faculties that are extremely rare and enable him to achieve things us plebs dream of. He is one of the most incredible athletes on this planet. I'm stoked he got an Olympic medal because he is the definition of an Olympian. (Side note, shout out to Chris joslin too - he's another one of these outlier legend types too)

@@lasagnahog7695 I think I can see the point you're trying to make, the art of skating and style creates an aesthetic, people with good style are pleasing to the eye. So rippers with sick style such as Jason dill and the late Dylan Reider represent that aspect of skating. But Nyjah is relentlessly hated on for no valid reason. If you watch the raw cut of his "needed that" (or whatever it's called) part, you'll see the mental fortitude and athleticism required to get those tricks done in that video. He deserves respect from anyone who skates. Don't hate on Nyjah, he is awesome.
