Always a thrill to watch Sina pay tribute to the iconic drumming of Keith Moon and also the brilliant songwriting of Pete Townshend :)) Apparently Pete had decided to take a nap in a doorway after a night out drinking, and was roused by a police officer who thought he looked familiar and asked "Who are you?" before sending him on his way lol. Keith Moon's last album before his tragic passing, and a fabulous performance thank you! 💫
@vampiresquid10 ай бұрын
Yes and no. It wasn't the cop saying "who are you?" which should be very obvious from the lyrics. In fact Pete was asking that of a couple of Sex Pistols he was out drinking with, specifically Pete Jones and Paul Cook. He felt they had insulted him and he became aggressive with them. "I remember throwing punches around and preaching from my chair...well who are you?"
@ned77710 ай бұрын

One of the most recognized drum arrangements in rock history in my humble opinion. Keith Moon was a spastic genius. He went from fast runs across the drums to intricate delicate symbol work. And then very soft and supple drum work on the interludes of this song. He was so crazy when he was drumming it really didn't look like he knew what he was doing but what came off the drums was incredibly amazing. Sina, I've followed you for years and you're development on KZbin and you are an amazing drummer. This is an amazing demonstration of Keith Moon's techniques. And you must be an advanced level drummer to pull it off the way you did. This was excellent!🎉 The Who was one of my favorite bands from that Era of rock. As a drummer in the late 1970's and early 1980's I remember where I was when I heard the news that Keith Moon had died (1978) as it was sudden and shocking to all fans of energetic drumming Keith Moon style and Jon Bonham died in (1980) which was a double blow. Keith Moon inspired me as a drummer to always attack the drum kit with energy and dynamics and my drums always sounded good on recordings. God bless both Keith and Jon and Sina too. The proof of great musicianship is, of course, in the playing but it is also seen elsewhere. It's seen in the player who absolutely MUST play or do nothing else. There's not much choice. It's what they live for. It's the focus and it's the abject joy in doing it. The music uplifts but the musician is also uplifting to anyone witnessing their playing. This is communication body AND soul. The listener also must listen and watch because that drive cannot be contained. If you're within hearing distance you are also driven to take part. The contagion spreads. One soul lifts others. I'm dumbfounded and entranced listening and watching this. This is what joy sounds like. This is what joy looks like.

I don't know. I think Keith Moon got bored in heaven and decided to come back to earth by possessing this young woman. BTW, it's good to hear Roger's f-bombs again. The version now playing on classic radio in the states had those edited out. The new version can be traced back to Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" (2004, Superbowl) and the heavy FCC fine levied against CBS. Shortly following that, all broadcast radio stations began to replace songs with any profanity with "cleaned up" versions.

Hi both, thanks for watching my video! @wtucker4773 I have to make something very clear here. The video you linked above is full of lots of bullshit. It is AI generated, probably never watched or double-checked by a human before it was uploaded. For example, in the video it is stated that my dad was with The Beatles... That's just not true. In those kind of videos, often my extremely high net-worth is mentioned to clickbait their audience. They estimate the net-worth based on the views on my channel and if it wasn't for the the copyright rules, maybe it would be kind of accurate even. Unfortunately though, it is not possible to earn money when copyrighted content is used in the video. If you don't believe me, maybe you'll believe Rick Beato: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2bPipJ6l7qmpc0si=aF3ANh393swGRrAp

I love "The Who" but to see the drums as a focus brings an elevated respect for Keith Moon. Sina - Thank You and my sincere best wishes in all your future endeavours!

A few of your Who covers came up in a row on my random play playlist, automatically, lucky me! I can tell from your 'exuberant' body English while playing that you really enjoy covering these Who tunes! Kudos and cheers! Enjoy one of the best rock bands, ever! You slightly resemble Animal's movements during some parts of some Who songs! Wink. Even one point you flash a similar grin a bit like Animal from Muppets. Maybe a subconscious channeling of Animal? Especially when you shake your locks about! He was Da BOMB on the Muppets show! You're the feminine, cute version of him. Meant in the sincerest way, feel honored Sina, you deserve all the best of life while sharing your talent here and all about the world! BeGood & BeWell to you and yours
