Keep skating,im 48 and still skate. And i can really skate, like ollie high and manual whole parking lots. I still dress like a surfer/ skater . I have long hair,as do all three of my boys. I am teaching them to skate. I wish my dad had done the same. So i am a skater/ musician/ dad/ husband/ surfer and i will never change to fit others views on how a grown man should look and dress. I come from the alternative/ grunge era, started skating in1989 . My first real skateboard was a santa Cruz slasher ( used) . I dont do handrail tricks or ollie down 12 stairs, or ollie impossible down 4 stairs. But i am still comfortable on my board,my balance is off the charts and i like to go fast. 🎸🏄♂️🛹❤️

I’m 15 and was wondering why should I keep skating. I had the same question as you, do I wanna skate or do I wanna just get sponsored. I figured I would skate and try to figure out myself. I came to the conclusion that skating was my way to connect with myself and just to not question what makes me happy. This video clarifies my feelings
