You just can't miss 2005 Roger Clemens at 1.80 ERA for 221 innings and 2003 Billy Wagner at 1.78 for 86 innings. And they're both so safe because there's only two Clemens years and they're both amazing, and only like 4 Wagner seasons and they're also all amazing.

Put myself in Dalton's shoes (3rd pick OVR, can't take anyone already drafted by the time his picks come up including his own selections) and I came up with this: Pick 3: Hendricks ’16 (2.13, 190 IP) Pick 4: Wainwright ’14 (2.38, 227 IP) Pick 9: Cole ’15 (2.60, 208 IP) Pick 10 to make it spicy: Kimbrel ’21 (0.49, only 36 IP w/Cubs) Pick 15: Gray ’19 (2.87, 175 IP) Pick 16: Woodruff ’21 (2.56, 179 IP) Pick 21: Rosenthal ’15 (2.10, 68 IP) Pick 22: Iglesias ’19 (4.16, 67 IP, yikes) Screwed the pooch on the last one but maybe this’d be enough to win??
