If they heard blue screening even with the given context, I can guarantee you they would instantly go "but it's in recovery mode, that wouldn't happen on Linux though". Btw, just so you know, it's not difficult to set up *USB & PCIe pass-through* for *a fairly isolated VM that runs an old-enough OS* version for the drivers of your _thing_ things. Every time I needed to do such a thing it worked without a hitch. _(You may take this as a cue for giving a try to the now-fully-free for non-commercial uses VMware Workstation Pro, btw.)_

I love how I've never learned French but understood that part anyway. There have been conversations like that at my high schools languages building(It's maybe 8 classrooms) where it'd be a 2nd or 3rd level class and someone wouldn't know even the first month basics from the first class. I was in the one Japanese class, so we didn't have it often because it's pretty much impossible to fudge the final since it will be entirely in Japanese letters.

This and archeotech is my favourite things, those and the rate my setups are some of the videos I can't help but watch the entire way through. Although he once did a like two and a half hour build on first time PC builders and I freaking loved that video, it was fantastic. It's easy to be all excited about the next Compensator build but, you know I mean after a certain point it's hard to explain just seeing like GTX 680's in SLI in a laptop that has good enough speakers for crab dancing just gives me more joy than looking at 4090 framerates at this point. I was looking at Walmart's projector's today and it occurred to me it was more exciting thinking about than some Asus $1200 monitor.

Yeah but what I always like is this feeling of a bunch of buddies just geeking out of funny weird shit it basically reminds all of us (or well those old enough to remember) about LAN parties and shit like that where you had to have that buddy with the Starcraft CD to get everyone else to have a multiplayr install. Usually the kid that got the newest family Pentium first, fuck I love me Pentiums. Anyway it's got that very much LAN party vibe and it's so much more fun when they're running weird archaic shit, as opposed to basiclaly like "who's got the fastest most impractical bullshittery with exploding power plugs that the nouveau riche with more money than taste would buy" and on that note I'd just like to add that Henry Cavill who's probably got more money than God compared to me just built with a 2080ti not a Titan, like a normal sane gamer human. While Nicholas Cage up there buying dinosaur skeletons and shrouds of Turin and shit Cavill is just giving us Geralt and playing on an 80ti. And earning mad respect for basically getting grossed out "ewww a geek" shit from some pretty bitchy actress while talking about his 40k collection, despite the fact a) he looks like Henry Cavill, b) he has the money of Henry Cavill, c) he's famous because he's Henry Cavill and you really gonna act like your disdain for his figurines means shit. Yeah. Linus' team geeking out about PCI slots and ten thousand dollar CRT widescreens got that kinda vibe. Because can YOU afford a ten thousand dollar CRT? Thought not.

You know for the character flaws I can readily see I think Linus is actually a decent man. Like he's an actual person, he just has high expectations and a frustration threshold with that, what do you call it nervous energy I can vibe that I got after I quit drinking and smoking like that NOW FASTER thing that makes you more prone to frustration. But he cares abuot his team, and he's clearly the kind of guy who's been burned willing to stick his neck out for someone even when maybe you always shouldn't. To be honest, Aliexpress always proves itself. Comparing to all the Wish'es and Temu's its quite amazing. And comparing prices to all the EU/US stores its even better, as long as you don't expect cutting edge technology.

Temu seems to be cheap junk with questionable origins, and I've legitimately never understood how Wish still exists, it seems to be entirely made up of outright scams and fake products.
