@@quesodepantelones from a serious standpoint - without considering PKT2, they serve different purposes. Lucas' is transcendent, Ness' isn't, meaning Lucas' can edgeguard but struggles to juggle and vice versa for Ness. Speed, as you said, is obviously a factor also - though I'd argue Lucas' slower projectile speed and fall speed during the move makes it easier to use for PKT2
