Fun fact about Silver Alerts, I use to work at the service counter of a grocery store selling lottery and cigarettes, and when there was a silver alert in my state, they’d put a tiny grainy photo of the missing person smack-dab on the middle of the lottery ticket machine. I can only assume the thought process is that they’re located in gas stations but I like to envision it’s because they know for certain that the missing grandpa can’t resist running his mega millions numbers.

Soup does in fact help when you're sick. It's usually nutritionally balanced and easily digested. Hot liquids can help open up nasal passages and see that your throat. Salt in the soup can help stop bacterial growth. Gargling with warm salted water has long been a very well accepted way to reduce the sore throat. For Best bet tried the chicken bone broth with garlic and ginger.

Just to be a lil pedantic, but just to inform as well, fried pork is “tonkatsu”, “tonkotsu” is pork bone! ❤ it comes from “ton” which means pork, and “katsu” it’s the type of fried food that you coat in flour-egg then coat in panko. To get breading to stick to me the best method I found is to pound that first layer of flour in after that first dip pound that well into the meat. Then egg then bread crumbs. The better you get that first layer pounded right into the meat the better your breading will stick. Pushing on the outside after you've breaded it doesn't do much

1) The pork is too thick 2) you need some corn starch in the flour mixture 3) after corn starch/flour soak the pork (makes it easy actually when you have a lot of cutlets) in egg and a little hot sauce or lemon juice for a few minutes 4) THEN you bread crumb (Funyun crumb) and fry. It’ll stay together then
