I AGREE💯 Watching these draggy cars hurtle backwards when they pull out the draft is RIDICULOUS. Underpowered too. Tyres way too durable (80+ laps ffs??) and pits the only way to overtake so fuel way too important now. NASCAR were warned that downforce from underside of car would affect racing massively but, as usual, ignored everyone cos they were thinking $$$ and didn'tthink of offsets. Officiating is a joke and compromised. Asking Micheal Jordan to ignore his brand, give it to NASCAR, no guaranteed return on investment AND NASCAR then claim they don't want big investment but ex drivers own a team til theyre near bankrupt and have to sell for pennies?? Jimmy Johnson was as clear as he could be during broadcast, he HAD to sign to survive, he couldn't afford to wait. A thriving sport doesn't pay their drivers, engineers and pit crew LESS than 10 years ago!! A thriving series doesn't have a grid full of sponsored drivers or drivers racing for free...NASCAR will hide behind close finishes and ignore the racing, crowds and viewing figures. 3 easy fixes imo; much more wearing on tyres (Pirelli can do it for F1 ffs). 2. Change stage distances to offset the fuel windows 3 Put an F1 style plank underneath the cars, get rid of 60%+ of underfloor downforce, add spoilers and let teams work it out and embrace the choas-good drivers will excel (like they do when you add tyres that wear faster)👍👍 What you reckon?😉🤣

The fix for the wreck/DVP/where to tow them issue is simple. If the driver exits the car because he knows they're done, car gets towed to the garage. If the driver remains in the car, tow them to their pit box and put them on the DVP clock. If it's too broken to continue, they won't be able to fix it in the time allotted.

I just love how Brad was not at fault for his 28-car accident, because it's just a racing deal, but people don't realize Alex was in the same situation with cars just as fast as him behind him approaching a car which looked like it was sitting still after two cars pulled out from behind him. What happened to Blaney sucks, but I don't think there was any way to avoid a wreck there, it was either going to be Ryan or Alex getting hit from behind. They did slow down some, just not enough unfortunately

The DVP is a simple fix , set a time limit , 10-12 mins , to get your car to minimum speed regardless tow or not as soon as you hit your box your clock starts

@@DaveReece-u4b no it’s not , if your in the “wreck” and can’t get back to your box your considered “done” example this weekend, Briscoe refused to get out cause he just needed tires and a push , they told him if the toelink was broke when they changed the tires then he was done , but if it was tires it was okay. Again drop the car off tow or not they get a set period of time to fix the car and meet speed , no matter if they need a whole new suspension and it’s clearly broken , giving the teams a time limit takes away the “unfairness” between all the drivers , what’s the point of having the “best pit crew” if they can’t show off there skills , if I got a guy that can change a toe link in 5 minutes to your guy who can do it in 10 could be the difference in 3-4 spots on pit road/ laps down

it was bad to go from Red Flag to yellow and still have so many cars still waiting to get towed or pushed off the track, As for Chase Briscoe and Chase Elliott waiting to get pushed or towed back to pit road, The Tow Truck start to push Chase Elliott and then stopped for some reason, that is why Chase got on radio and said WTF. Chase didnt even get towed back till after the cars eventually started moving under yellow and he was lapped at least twice before eventually getting towed, that who race was kinda a crazy thing of errors after errors

He drives a car sponsored by Hendrick cars, Jeff Gordon is flying with him to Indy all month, Jeff Gordon calling him the greatest driver he's seen, he's breaking record after record at Hendrick. Those other drivers have to hear it, they are in the same equipment, they have the same information, and they just blend in with every other car out there. It's a 4 car team but I honestly think Larson and Cliff are on their own island.
