I think more voters might remember the trump term more fondly than this one. The only reason this race is even competitive is the election denial, 6.1, abortion, and trump's character - not people "remembering the trump presidency". That is *his* advantage. Harris is tainted with this administration's unpopularity, is highly unlikable, bad at speaking, and has very problematic baggage from her time as DA. She is perhaps the only mainstream candidate *less* popular than biden. The comparison to hillary is striking. If biden is replaced, there is literally nothing the GOP would love more. An independent here who has followed Shapiro for a long time and voted for governorship. He is an excellent politician and should be considered (and chosen) on the ticket. He is not on the far left fringe of the Democrat Party. A far left pick could never win independents. Whichever party wins in the Fall, they will do so because of independents.
