» SELF-INTRODUCTION
We were just an ordinary Japanese married couple, both working, until my wife suddenly chose to move overseas.
After thinking deeply, I reached a conclusion to leave the company I worked for 12 years, and started my new life as a stay-at-home dad in 2021.
At first, I had rough time with stress and felt conflicted, but now I enjoy my life in Malaysia, taking the household chores over from my wife.
As I changed my lifestyle I changed my hairstyle to Samurai(Man Bun).
I named this channel "Samurai -----" as some people call me "samurai!" since I came to Malaysia.
In this channel, I will be introducing:
1. My daily life and things I noticed as stay-home-dad
2. My Malaysian life
3. Changes we experience upon moving overseas
Hope you enjoy!

Oh man... mee goreng mamak is very2 dangerously addictive. Cannot get enough... i always order another fried egg and they put chili sauce on top of it ohhhhhh I like it. And then you squeeze the lime on top of it, woahhhhh soooo goood. Also if it's spicy, the teh ais can really help haha. Or Milo ice... such an adventure hahaha

The mi goreng mamak looks SEDAP - I hope you enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, Samurai-san 🙌♥️🙌 P/S: I think the delicacy you were asking for at the end of the video is called CUCUR - it’s basically meatball-sized fried flour batter. Sometimes they put prawn inside and it’s called CUCUR UDANG - udang is prawn. Glad you enjoyed your morning walk at the old side of Bangsar.

In the fried noodle, you have already found the fried tofu. The one you asked about was most likely a fried fritter, which is basically fried flavoured dough. There is a proper name for it, but most people will understand if you call it "kueh" as in "kueh untuk mee goreng mamak". Many shops use only one type of kueh in their fried noodles, though there are places that use more than one type.

You should’ve taken his suggestion of adding extra Tamago, since Japanese people loves runny egg I’m sure you’d love the addition of a “telur mata” which are like sunny side egg on top of the noodle. Try it next time!

Looks so mouth-watering! Msia indeed a variety blast of delicious F&B. But Samurai man, my advice is when u ask how much to avoid saying to food vendors directly.'It's very cheap!' Yes, it's very cheap for middle and upper income class pple but for the lower income working Msians that plate of mee goreng offers a fantastic reasonably price affordable food for sustenance. Just say 'wow good or nice price or just say nothing, but be very happy!😂 My family had 3 bowls of simple ramen at a very small halal resto in Tokyo each bowl costs ¥1450 for 3 son and husband we paid ¥4350 plus sc not sure total how much hubby paid. But it's OK we're just on a holiday🤭 a memorable experience😂. Def gonna visit Salim's'🤤
