I'm really sorry about everything you've been through and still dealing with. It's so sad and very unfortunate, but extremely difficult to deal with people with no sensitivity. THEY HAVE THE PROBLEM! They see you going on with life and staying busy,they see your creativity and probably think you are swimming in money. All of that makes them envious of you instead of happy for you. All they see is your stuff. Not your heart or the sadness you have in it. It's ugly to say, trust no one, but as a woman now on the Internet with a home on wheels you have to have your guard way up, and remember that when it sounds too good to be true is usually trouble. But don't let them take you down, it's all part of the training. God and the universe are preparing you for something better,so build that mussel. Blessings,all the best and don't forget to act like your dog sometimes 👸🏼💐🐾🐾

Thank you Doris for taking the time to write such kind words, I agree. I don't understand how people can be so mean in this world, especially your own family. You would think growing up in the same home, the same parents that you would have an unbreakable bond ...Sadly not everyone feels the same as me. My oldest sister was always competitive with me, yet she was the one with a better life. If you show any signs of being ok , they try to bring you down. I don't know how some people can sleep at night. I hope this was a lesson learned for me. Are you in the US or Canada. I am home in Ottawa now and taking God ❤️❤️

@WandaonWheels-ej9rq You're very welcome Wanda ❣️ I am in the US. now in Cape cod Massachusetts.Hispanic, originally from Puerto Rico🌞 life is great, but is funny how the world turns showing us without a doubt that some people come to our lives for a reason, and some others for a season. Including family members I also learned. But after 30 years of hardship and dissolution, came the bitter sweet isolation that helped open my eyes wide, and more importantly master being alone but never lonely. Today I am still going through some things but praying I can solve things quickly so I can also bring my home on the road 😊 I have a Honda Odyssey and I plan to take full advantage when the time comes.who knows, maybe we'll see each other down the road some day 🥰 but until then, let's keep our heads up and hopes even higher! Take care and have a wonderful weekend ahead!🌈

Thanks Joe, When they see a woman coming , it's mostly likely going to be a rip off . I think it should be made criminal for them to ruin a person's car for profit. I called the police and they said you could have left and went to another garage, I said I could not drive as it would not start ...then she said you could have gotten towed. This is true but at this point the wires were already cut on my starter which created the problem ...not a police matter she said. Maybe I will have to work on changing the laws.

You will never fully recover, but it does become more bearable with time. I found that after 6 years I began to feel a sense of myself again. I try to keep my mind busy, no time to think. I have filed a complaint with the head office with regards to Canadian Tire ...I don't want them to think they got away with this. I don't have a relationship with my sister, but she somehow finds a way to attack from afar. . Just like you I tried for years to have a healthy relationship with some family members, but when you don't matter to them and they don't care, there is no point. I try to remind myself that I cannot change a person's thoughts on me, but I can change the way I react to it. Have a good day my friend 😊🇨🇦😢

Yes, and Canadian Tire does have cameras, but they are looking down from the corners and would not be able to see what he is doing underneath. Not to count all who works in that dept plays by the same rule. I believe they are under a base pay and the more they find to repair , it's a percentage of that also. I will never have an understanding of people who are so money driven that they will take advantage of others, and then go home and sleep like a baby. I hope God has plans for people like this when they least expect it.

@@WandaonWheels-ej9rq Paying to take your old starter with you is not a scam. A large majority of the time starters are rebuilt components, not new, which means they take your old starter, disassemble it, make whatever internal repairs are needed and resell it much cheaper than buying a brand new component. If you don't return your old starter to the parts store, they then don't have one to rebuild. I'm not sure what that's called in Canada but here in the USA it's known as a core charge, similar to a bottle return deposit, return the core or the bottle and get your money back. don't return the part / bottle and there's a fee for that. Being charged a core charge is no more of a scam then that bottle return fee. If you don't want to be stuck with a core charge you can either return the core or purchase a new starter

A starter on Amazon is like $100-150. ..it's 2 bolts and 2 wires to change it. ..you can do stuff like that, learn how to fix stuff. ..you can test a starter with jumper cables on the side of a hwy by touching the wires to the starter wires ..red wire to red wire, ground to ground. . Literally 2 minutes to know if the starter is still working, you don't even need to take it off ...I bet your old starter was fine
@WandaonWheels-ej9rqАй бұрын
I cannot replace a starter, I would not be able to get the bolts out as I have only 25 ,% hand grip, and vertical....I can't look out without getting dizzy. In this case the starter was not broken, they tore the wire apart and told me it happened because they were turning her off and on during the code check, the starter itself is fine. You're kind of at their mercy when your car won't even start. I was left with no choice but to buy a new one so I could get my van back. This is criminal in my eyes.
@RobertAngeloni-ni9hvАй бұрын
You mention 3 codes but only refer to 2 of them, I'm not sure what the 3rd code is, but it is very common for a misfire to cause the oxygen sensor to falsely read lean setting the code. Your Evap system is a way to reduce emissions. As the fuel evaporates in the tank, the vapors would normally be released to the atmosphere, the evap system reroutes those vapors into the engine to be burnt just like fuel reducing emissions and increasing fuel mileage. While this should be addressed for obvious reasons, I've never seen a misfire caused by the evap system in the 30+ years I've spent as a dealership tech
@WandaonWheels-ej9rqАй бұрын
I had sent the codes back to my mechanic in Ontario, he said no code indicated a misfire on cylinder number 2 on the receipt, verbally it was cylinder number 1. This was another indication that I was being lied to. Whatever the issue was , it otherwise resolved itself, was a minor fix by them or I put a can of fuel injector cleaner in her. It never happened again after leaving the shop, yet they have me booked to return and have the injector replaced. I returned to the store yesterday and let them know I had found the codes in the car, there was no misfire. The manager said I can't do anything about that because this is what the mechanic told me. I told him if this is the case then he needs to stop this from happening in the future. I then filed a complaint with the head office in Toronto. I just want them to think twice before doing this to another . Cancelled my injector replacement .

I can empathize with your family situation. I'm not real close with my parents or siblings. I lost my oldest son 18 years ago and my second oldest started suffering from undiagnosed paranoid delusions about 2 yrs ago. It became so hard to cope with that I sold my house and left. I ended up buying an RV because I still had my youngest with me. We lived in an RV park for a bit to take care of some medical issues and during that time almost everything that can go wrong with an older RV did go wrong. Took it to a service center, the owner said he could have it done in 3 weeks, 3 months later it is still not finished, and I've gone through a big chunk of money trying to survive in a hotel because it was too hot and too uncomfortable to live in my car here in Arizona. My youngest is 18 and is living with their boyfriend's grandma so she is safe. But I'll be living in my car at the end of the month if my RV isn't finished. Life just sucks sometimes, and it is usually because of the actions of other people. We just have to keep moving forward. Take care!

🤗Blood does not always make family. Often strangers can feel more like family, and seem to care so much more. I have no family except for my kids, and a ex and distance relatives I've found online after a DNA kit, but none even know that I exist, and I'm much older than any of them. And now for unknown reasons my sons are not speaking to me. I had a daughter in law that was, but every thing I did or said was, "old fashioned" and never approved of, I tried to be nice for my son's sake. But her last rants was enough 😢 Claimed how, I raised my kids, was all, lies. Because it, would, have been, just way, too hard!!! . Because her life is, with two toddlers, having, to cook and everything, (does not clean) 😮, and she is so resentful of everything. So, after all every one knows, that, "boomers" all used drugs to cope! (I never even smoked weed, and had kids, born at home) Even after saying that she was sorry, but I have a old fashioned way of talking, but that is,,, to be expected, Cuz after all I am over 70 years old! 🤯 She's in her 30's,and if, it's not online, it's not political correct, I guess. Needless to say she's not speaking to me either. We live several states apart. Lol😂 Boy has our world changed and I can't say for the best! ❤ There are so many of us that, feel that you are, a neat lady! And enjoy, what you feel, like sharing.! And on the subject of men and would be mechanics, ohhhh brother the stories, we could tell 😢 I've learned so much hands on auto repair from, a have to do it, knowledge. But at soon to be 71, my body says, enough of this crap. I have two old pickups, both with over 340,000 miles on them. I've found a O-2 sensor can give issues on and off, especially with a loose wire. Take care dear lady, will check out the book👍🤗🌹
