Sorry but numerous errors: Ian Horne did not put out an email public appeal. I started the search for the bass in 2018, not 2019. This was initially done through Höfner. I created The Lost Bass Project together with Scott and Naomi Jones and Cathy Harrison in May 2023. Not at the same time as the original search! Due to the wide global publicity, Ian Horne emailed us at The Lost Bass Project about the van. Paul and Linda McCartney were not staying in the Notting Hill area on the night of the theft. Cathy Guest is not the wife of Ronald Guest (the pub landlord) she is his daughter-in-law. Ronald Guest was not a guitar collector.

You have made so many ' mistakes' . The Lost Bass Project did not find or return the bass. Cathy will tell the true story when she has finished negotiations with MPL. Hers is a very human and often tragic story. You didn't even get the name of her husband correct. 😢
