Have you ever wondered who is flying on private jets? I am a private jet pilot, and in this video I tell you all the different types of people who fly on, and use private jets.
We definitely fly celebrities, and famous people, but this group might make up a surprisingly low amount of our total customer base.
I also go over the categories of private jet operators, and share information about how the industry works!
Let me know what other aspects of private jets you want to learn about!
Please follow me on my other platforms!!!

Great video brother. Quick tip, level out the volume of the intro with the volume of the video. The video was low and then the intro kicked in at full blast. Not too pleasant for us using headphones.

JEEESH! The VOLUME on the musiic just about killed my 72 year old ears!!!! …. Otherwise LOVE your channel I just found. (Yeah I blew out my dad’s speakers when I was a teen … and it’s a miracle I can still hear anything) … Anyways, I was born too soon to be able to fly as a female and so have always been a closet fly-girl … so a bit jealous … but very happy for you! It’s such a different time and your generation has tons more options. With this channel maybe a super wealthy family will contract you as their private pilot … just as long as their kids aren’t allowed to paint the inside of their jet with peanut butter & honey!

The time savings of flying private is a huge deal. Even a 60 minute flight time via commercial airlines with a laptop bag requires an hour of pre-boarding time and another 30 minutes to de-plane and exit the terminal. If the project is in a small town with no commercial service, then you can expect even more time for ground transfers.

Flying private for a business, as an OpEx, is a great tax write off. Even though the money is not going to the government directly, the money end up spent in the form of well paid salaries (pilots, mechanics, etc) and logistics. Hopefully one day soon the Carbon Footprint Impact will be mitigated, offset or turned into a positive balance.

I've heard that 300 hours a year is considered the upper limit for charter. Any more then that and it's more financially viable to own instead of charter.

With shares , subscriptions and empty legs, nearly anyone can fly private anymore. You do away with ownership, maintenance and related costs.

You've probably been asked this a lot but have you ever had a guest/ guests that have pissed you off so much that your flight crew have refused to fly them again when they've requested you. I realize you can't divulge who it was and my experiences as a coach driver I was getting threatened and spat on so when we stopped for a break my co driver and I rubbed itching powder into the toilet paper and I put a horse laxative into the hot drinks machine.🤬

We are looking to fly private from Vancouver to Cape Town. We will be away 6 weeks and 8 of us will be going. March 1 to April 15 2022. We work with the kids of the Town ships. What would be our cost with one day layover in Paris. Best Regards

I'm in my training right now and I like the sounds of Corporate flying vs the airlines but I had a question about their schedule. What is a corporate pilot schedule like? I've heard of 7 on 7 off, is that 7 on mean GONE for all 7 days straight or is it more of being on call for a week with a few shorter trips during that time and you may spend a night or two at home during that week? Like I said, corporate sounds awesome but I think that leaving the wife to deal with the kids for 7 days straight every week might be a bit much to ask.

MOST part 135 jobs are 8 on 6 off or 15 on 13 off. NetJets does the golden 7/7. Most 8 on 6 off schedules you are airlined to the airplane on the morning of your first day (Tuesday for me), and then airlined at the end of the next Tuesday. Then you are off Wednesday - Tuesday morning when you head out again. It's not for everyone - but knowing your schedule 6 months/a year in advance is nice. Overall you aren't gone any more than a normal airline schedule, but it is for longer periods of time.

I like your thoughts. Wealthy people took risks and sacrifices most people will never understand. This is why I get upset when I hear people, especially politicians, saying we need to tax extremely wealthy people.

Exactly, its such bullshit. They worked hard and got rich so they should be punished as a result? Same as when ppl say the rich should do more to help those less fortunate and when someone does, they complain its for publicity or that its actually evil... As if these ppl actually help others themselves. "Oh im not rich", so what? U really at a point where u cant spare 5 dollars a month to some charitable organization? Would it be nice if all rich ppl did more? Yes, but its their money and they worked for it so they get to do with it as they see fit. Plus, they r rich cuz they r smart, they understand how money works and they understand the (tax) laws, which is why taxing the rich/wealthy more will never work cuz they will simply find ways around it. Besides, its all just political talk before/during elections anyway in order to get more votes.

People with $ will get tired of wearing MASKS in a plane for political reasons... also the long wait time, check in all these things you mentioned. Once you fly charter, you never go back to commerical!
