This is a genera that is definitely missing from TTRGs, and I’m here for it! It’s perfect for people with a wacky cartoony side that they look for an excuse to express. If I were to play, I’d try to convince an opponent to do “The plank challenge!” I’d start by morphing into the shape of a 2x4 plank of wood and saying “see how long YOU can hold a plank shape!” Then, when the other person morphs into a plank shape, I’d pop out, grab them, take a hammer and some nails, and hammer them into the side of a wall where a piece of wood is missing! Then run off making Daffy Duck noises “WOOHOO! WOOHOO!”

So what about third party 5e content like kobold press 2c gaming or Nord games? I respect you being fully done with official content by wizards of the coast and hasbro but have you also cut yourself out of all the amazing third party people? Who unlike hasbro and wizards did not try make a closed gaming license and basically destroy one a the best parts a the hobby. Run whenever you want at your table I just ask don’t let two greedy companies ruin amazing content from other companies.

Hey! I'm doing videos about Kobold Press all the time as well as videos on other 5e products. I also talk about Cypher System because that's one of my main games and I like to cover other systems since I play all kinds of systems. That's just the TTRPG player I am these days. I now see TTRPGs more as board games, no need to just play the one. I don't talk about 2c gaming anymore, ever, for good reason. And Nord Games has just not put out that much content in the last couple of years.
