I recently picked up 5 Ralph Lauren Glen Plaid Whiskey glasses for .99 a piece. Sold comps are approximately 100 a piece. I now go straight to clear glass.

I love the sparkle of clear crystal glass! I especially love the Swedish and Danish glass…Waterford and Baccarat also. I never skip the clear glass…as is evidenced by my cabinet full of it! 😂😂

I'm surprised you threw back that long stitch embroidery piece of a house. It would easily sell for $45+. Plus there was no frame, so easier to ship! Think of embroidery pieces as art prints - you can sell them like you do the ones you find. Pop them out of the frame and sell. Needlepoint and crewel embroidery sells very well.

Hello Karen, With your great eye for spotting quality, I'm sure you would do well with clear glass. If it has an etched signature or marking, you can sometimes find it easily by holding it up to the light. I picked up 12 Waterford goblets, for $1.00 each. Didn't know they were Waterford until I washed them and held them up to the light and saw the faint etching on the base. Some pieces are also marked on the stemware.

My former mother-in-law had a huge collection of Byers Choice carolers which I ended up inheriting. I put them out every year. I absolutely love the apothecary bottles & would be so excited if I found some in the wild. They are on my bucket list for sure. I also loved the bead wrapped trees- great find!!

Ok, Karen. After months of watching you, I finally went into the hard goods section yesterday. I found some Tupperware divided cafeteria-style trays in great condition and some Italian glasses. Not huge profits but I will definitely triple my investment with both. I enjoy selling clothing the best but thank you for teaching us about hard goods.
