I’ll take beautiful oceans, boat life, Palm trees, island food/culture, any day. MIAMI... I’ve never been but I’ve lived in New York for 30 years and no matter how rich Manhattan claims to be it’s still looks nasty all year round.. run down roads and sidewalks , dingy restaurants, dilapidated homes that are overpriced,this is why people who have vast resources choose to relax in Miami or out of Manhattan in the Hamptons or vacation overseas and only live in Manhattan when necessary. Who wants to look out your window at a brick wall or into someone else apartment when you can look at the ocean or enjoy a lazy day at home looking out at a beach 🏝 with beautiful people

Had I not had the expansive beauty of this stunning riverfront view to sit before and heal, I would have lost myself. Water bodies let us know the universe is rich and regenerative and yes, magical! Both will be facing major changes in the next 10 years and people will see why soon, the safer bet will most likely be NY. That financial infrastructure won’t go anywhere any time soon and they have a more predictable government with clear laws. Summer vacation spot Miami takes the cake by a long shot, the rest of the year, you’ll call NY home, better for business, more growth, weather sucks but you can deal with it.

Being a New Yorker, I can say that overall, Miami has MUCH better luxury apartments, there isn't even an argument against it. There is far more modern buildings with all the amenities, far cheaper land, which means more space, and of course, proximity to beaches and water is greater. NYC has a much better skyline but so few buildings enjoy these views that it's rarely available unless you are in those supertall buildings, which have a ton of their own bad problems. BUT, at the ultra-luxury level, I think everything converges at all international top locations.

Miami and it's not even close 😂 those NY spots are probably triple the cost with less space. I do love the tall building views in NY it looks insane! I live in a high rise but don't have nearly as much great architecture to look at but IMO it's Los Angeles>>>> Miami>> New York for real estate in general in America

Miami, no competition. NYC is about the grossest city in America. So glad I moved to FL, the FL coastal beauty/architecture is unmatched by anything on the east coast. CO or MT can give it a real run with the stunning mountain homes, but NY is over priced garbage.
