I think Kloe will have a big impact in the starting lineup because she can face up and shoot the midrange. That will open things up. Dawn make excellent in-game adjustments so if Cloe or someone else has it going, their minutes will increase. Take, what the defence gives.

@@Mr..G Dawn said herself they couldn’t stop Alissa Pili, sometimes players are just great. Same for Hannah, if you notice nobody else in ND could score so all they had was Hannah. That’s an adjustment in my opinion. I think people often forget this is a young team getting everybody’s best shot. The defense SC plays now is not the same from the first game of the season or a December game. They gotten better, chemistry has grown. Look at the florida game if you wanna see adjustments. Correa went for 22 in the first half and only ended with like 24.

Love cap. Will, but excluding kloe out of the starting lineup is absurd. A starter is a starter, no matter how you slice it. Granted wakins plays more minutes because she be in the games longer but Kloe is a starter, and she contributes more offensively than given credit for. Plus she is a decent rebounder and she hustles. Plus she is decent at free throw line. I’m just saying let’s not act like she isn’t a factor in the starting lineup because she gets 14 minutes of play. If she has a hot hand or playing really well in certain game, she be in the game longer. Plus let’s not forget, her and pao pao was key to one of the gamecocks victory earlier in the season.

The only player that we have that could be a center piece (the best player on the team) at other top programs is our center, Kamilla. Great video and break down. Now here's my observations, SC defense, offense, and bench will win this game. Kim might have reloaded but SC is overall a better team! No matter who Dawn bring off the bench she isn't losing talent in the game, she just doing a swap. This will either go 2 ways, a close game or a blow out none in between. Strong breakdown. I think Dawn should gameplan to take Mikayla Williams away, let Watkins play Morrow, Cardosa on Angel w double team if need, and HVL will be the liability on offense & defense. Only way this game stays close is if Refs become factor with ticky tack fouls on Cardosa etc, Lsu getting charges from standing in a player path when they turn around. This could happen, if the network wants to keep the TV ratings high, you will start to see ridiculous fouls away from basket.

I think Dawn will start with her regular starting line-up against LSU. Dawn will want to see if the Chloe/Cardoso Hi/Lo post work can be handled by LSU. If LSU has to sag, the 3 pointers of USC will start killing those 3's. While this is going on, Dawn will make a decision on how she will mob LSU. If it goes as usual, Chloe/Cardoso will work, LSU will sag, the 3's will start dropping from USC Guards, and LSU will wear themselves out trying to cover both. Then Dawn will send in the Mob, and wear them out further. 3rdQ rinse and repeat until LSU is unable to play with energy or without fouling. You got it Captain: Our rebounding is fundamental to our winning. Swatkins will play and probably have more time than Chloe. With those turnovers, I think it indicates that Dawn will stick with the regular starters and let the Mob go wild on LSU where Swatkins will make life hard on LSU starters. USC starting line up is better no matter where Chloe or Swatkins play. Thinking about Swatkins abilities, it makes sense to use her once the starters have gotten LSU anxious. LSU will have to adjust, will be a little tired, and they will start spreading a little on defense. That is when Swatkins is best. They cannot keep up with her nor Fulwiley.

First of all, JUJU WATKINS is the #1 recruit in 2023, at USC, not Mikaylah Williams, which is #2. Second of all, you don’t think Coach Mulkey or Coach Staley knows this information already. How they win, will be based on how the information will be used both offensively & defensively. Sounds like to me, 76% to 57% point wise means for SC to win, SC will either have to play their starting 5 more or play their bench more. I disagree, if SC starters play more minutes, they will be tired, because they wouldn’t be used to playing longer minutes, which means their efficiency will drop. At least LSU starters are used to playing more minutes. Coach Mulkey already knows her starters play more minutes and have even discussed with the media, finding ways to adjust, for example calling time outs at certain times, or basing it on who has foul trouble & things of that nature. I am not sure what your background is, but leave the coaching to the professionals. Go 🐅!❤

LSU is inconsistent, they play when they want to. They need Kateri and Samiyah because they know what's it's like to be under this pressure. Kateri would take that ball no matter what and Samiyah will block the ball and her fade aways has advance. She perfected her craft to when she knows how to block the ball w/o getting fouled. I think people are underestimating lsu these stats are just average you know players can go over their average right and angel may be averaging 20 pts and 12 reb but that does not mean that is the only amount she will get like last year she averaged 23 pts and 15 rebounds but she got 26pts and 28 reb in 1 game so average does not matter in 1 game so

Will, your logic here is flawed........................................... You say that SC's starters are more "efficient" than LSU and if they played the same minutes that it wouldn't be close. However, that's not how things play out in the real world. In SEC play, you claim that SC's starters are averaging 25 mpg while LSU's starters are averaging around 34 mpg. But, here's the thing.................................SC's perceived efficiency is more than likely because they don't normally play as many minutes. However, as I've been saying the past couple of weeks, when you look at SC's three close games this season, ALL the starters are playing over 30 min except for Kitts / Watkins, who are subbing for one another. If you look at the boxscores of those three games, you'll see SC's starters' perceived "efficiency" advantage is non-existent. Additionally, Dawn didn't extend the bench minutes in THOSE games like she does in the blowouts. So, if this is a close game, as most of us believe it will be, SC's starters are more than likely going to average 30+ minutes............................which they are NOT used to doing. LSU's starters can play 30+ minutes and be fine because they're USED TO IT. I guarantee if Dawn cuts the bench minutes like she usually does, LSU's starters will have the advantage on SC's starters without question.

Comparing stats for SEC games only is interesting, but unless you are comparing common opponents within the conference, it's not an accurate indicator of efficiency or the better starting five. Through five games, they only have one common opponent who they both beat handedly. A larger sample size is needed for SEC play only to be a reliable method. If not, then the teams LSU have played actually have more wins and less losses within the conference. Also, SC's players' stats are more on the front end and not after fatigue has set in like LSU. So there is no gurantee that they would maintain the same rate of efficiency per minute if they played longer while fatigued. Apparently, Coach Staley doesn't think so, otherwise she wouldn't sub players the way she does. The *ACC* has 7 top 25 teams; the *PAC-12* 6, the *Big-12* 4 and the *Big-10* 3. The *SEC* and *Big East* only have 2 each. I think people are starting to get cocky because of how much South Carolina has won and what people need to understand is the only time they scored 100 points was against nobody teams and they pretty much played Nobody teams the whole preseason except for North Carolina and I’m not saying LSU had a strong conference schedule for this preseason because there’s was kind of easy too but you don’t here us complaining when we played VT We beat them by 20 points and they’re supposed to have Georgia Amoore the best three point shooter besides Caitlin Clark and I’m not even a fan of Caitlyn Clark or Virginia Tech but I can respect their talent but I’m glad we beat them though but North Carolina gave them a run for their money, so unless they start getting together with their defense and less turnovers and fouls because of this is how they play against a ranked team that’s actually good I mean when they play North Carolina they were 5-2 so that means they lost two games and they let them soak them out in the beginning and it took them a long time to get back to where they need to be to win if there is good as they say they are they shouldn’t need that they should blow them out the water in the beginning . I don’t know if they’re going to beat LSU because everybody saying how South Carolina‘s gonna sweep the floor with LSU but they don’t understand is we have all five starting players scoring in double digits, we have two the best rebounders in the country we have Mikayla Williams, the number one freshman coming out of class of 2023 who can shoot like no other and we have poa the charge taking master like you say you are not gonna be biased but I did not here 1 good thing about lsu or how good they are to. and I feel like South Carolina has a lot of height and size, but that didn’t stop North Carolina’s shorter post players from blocking the shots of people that are taller than them, so why can’t aneesha and angel do it to plus angel is a lot faster than Camilla so it’s gonna be a lot harder for Camilla to keep up with her to the block or stop her because you know she has guard skills and can bring the ball up and can dribble the ball since she was a point gaurd in middle school and some of high school. so if this game and how it is played against lsu with all those fouls and turnovers LSU FEEDS ON TURNOVERS so if they are getting all those turnovers and fouls that they were getting I don’t know how they’re going to play against LSU never seen them play this team so I don’t know who’s gonna win against LSU or South Carolina because the team LSU has now has more talent than it had last year, so South Carolina needs to work on their offense and LSU needs to work on their defense so basically, this game is like who’s gonna win the best scoring offense or the best defense and LSU has beat three top defensive teams in the country by a landslide so from past experience offense to seems to outweigh defense when it comes to LSU but like I said I don’t know who will win.
