Top 5 characters with the most potential (in my opinion): 1. Broly - The guy went from being under SSJ level to being able to overpower SSB Goku ,Vegeta and Golden Frieza in a matter of MINUTES. Bear in mind, this is Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza AFTER the TOP so it's scary how much stronger this guy can get with more time and training. As far as potential in of itself goes, he has to be no.1. 2. Frieza - Made perhaps the most tremendous power leap in Dragon Ball history. He went from being a villain everyone had written off to being one of the most powerful mortal warriors in the multiverse. He leaped past SSB Goku with just four months of training and didn't even master his new form. He then learned to hone his abilities further during the time from Resurrection F to the TOP to where he was able to match TOP level Goku. Also noteworthy is that he survived an hour long beating from Legendary Super Saiyan Broly and managed to RETAIN his golden form and showed no signs of battle damage when the fight was over. All he needs is a few more years of hard training and I doubt even Goku will be able to take him unless he has Ultra Instinct. 3. Jiren - The man who needs no introduction. His track record speaks for itself. He is the strongest warrior Universe 11 has to offer and is arguably the STRONGEST mortal in the entire multiverse. His power is said to have surpassed the Gods of Destruction and trump time itself. He actually managed to overpower incomplete UI and even go toe to toe with complete Ultra Instinct. If these impressive accolades weren't enough, he's shown that he still has new plateaus of power yet to be reached. This was showcased with how he awakened a limit breaker form and was temporarily able to overpower COMPLETE ULTRA INSTINCT, a level of power that none of the Gods of Destruction have mastered. Given the fact that he's an extremely disciplined fighter, he will no doubt train himself even harder to defeat Ultra Instinct. This guy is perhaps the only character who could legit give an angel a good fight. 4. Gohan - Even though I am LOATHED to put this supreme disappointment on this list, you can't have a discussion about potential without mentioning GOHAN. Gohan's character development has no doubt let a lot of people down. Many of us envisioned him being a warrior of unfathomable might but since the writers decided they wanted Goku to remain the focus, his development and power was sacrificed. Nevertheless, if writers finally decide they want to give Gohan his just due, this guy definitely has a chance to SURPASS nearly everyone on this list. He went from being bodied by Piccolo while training for the TOP to being able to go toe-to-toe and in fact OVERPOWER Dyspo...a fighter who had previously given Goku, Hit and Golden Frieza a run for their money. If Gohan continues to hone in on his dual Saiyan/Human heritage, there's no telling what he could do....but it has yet to be seen if he'll remain dedicated enough to do that. 5. Android 17 - I never would've thought that I would ever list one of the Androids in a list of top growth potential, but 17's performance in the TOP arc has truly flipped the script. This guy went from being only stronger than a basic SSJ to being able to go toe to toe with a god ki powered Goku. Furthermore, he's shown a keen ability to adapt to the fighting styles of his opponent on the spot as seen with his fight with Kakunsa from U2. He's a highly tactical fighter that uses a combination of blinding speed, infinite stamina, unlimited ki, and supreme cunning to give even characters far more powerful than him like Toppo or Jiren a run for their money. I envision him being a MAJOR contender for even the likes of Broly or Jiren with more training. After his all star performance in the TOP, Android 17's EARNED his spot in this list.

I know this comment is kinda old, but that form only lasts a limited period of time when achieved through the ritual. You need proper training, like Goku and Vegeta got, to enter the god-forms at will. So, you'd have to know that an enemy is approaching beforehand, have enough time to perform the ritual, and work together with that Saiyan. Something neither Goku nor Vegeta is good at. They also both achieved Blue soon after SSG was introduced anyway, so what help would it have been, really?

I don't think that's true for a few reasons: 1) He was capable of guarding and dodging most of Goku's attacks and seemed to get better at it while Goku was also improving and 2) when Goku powered up in a fit of rage, Jiren also did the same. It was quick in that scene but if you pause and look you'd see that he was answering that challenge with a power up of his own

Sorry another thing was that Jiren was able to unlock his Super Full Power 3 times but on the 3rd time he was able to unlock it without fear of losing or trauma. Unlocking and mastering his Super Full Power within 3 attempts in what we can assume was only 45 seconds is huge and I think speaks volumes to his combat and mental prowess

About freezar and android 17, both never trained before(17 was a normal human with a buff that make him ssj lvl), there´s a thing on training called "newbe gains", the first training someone does, always has the faster and higher gains. I guess we could accept that explanation, kinda. Broly was trained his entire life by his father, just the quality was not that great, or the sparring partner, but non stop training is better than "bursts of hard training" with years of lazy time.

Those 2 more levels of power are irrelevant when you consider he already has his berserk/ legendary form. unless there's evidence to suggest SS2 or 3 are somehow more powerful. but comparing Caulifla and Kale when both forms are in use at the same time in ToP, I'd say Berserk/ Legendary utterly destroys SS2. and kale is mentally and skillfully on a lower level than caulifla too.

god form is not something which you achieve simply by training. there are some prerequisites which are required to do so. goku and vegita were able to do in a place where god ki was soo heavily concentrated that they could actually feel and see it.

From the moment his body glows and his aura shoots forward his golden aura disappears. When we cut back to him he's flying but we saw him walking. Meaning he was walking on energy. The next time somebody moves through their own attack is Goku in his final Kamehameha against Hit in their first fight. The Supreme Kai confirms Cell was a god level threat when asked by his ancestor why the mortals were there. (Shin only goes hard against Buu. Who takes out Gohan easily). It's funny now because when he says "us" he doesn't need Kibito and himself he means himself and Beerus. I love the way they expanded the lore.

Broly's fight started at day time and ended at night which means it took him atleast 2 hrs or more to become that strong. On the other hand manga gohan started the tournament at low ssj2 lvl and went to ssj blue level in less that 40 minutes. I would say both have same level of potential.

No belly did not take 2 hours or more to become that stronger. He literally overpowered both Goku and vegetable the time he just went ssj. That happened in about not even an hour someone else said 15 but I’m not sure about that. He than proceeded to beat frieza up for an hour when he was already outclassing Goku and vegetable ssjb after the top which means the ssjb Goku and vegeta in the broly Movie are much stronger which in turn means broly got way stronger way faster than gohan did and mostly at the 1 hour mark where he beat frieza he didn’t get much stronger because frieza was to weak to push him further which is why he went lssj when gogeta beat his a.. you literally either didn’t watch the broly movie or forgot to include a lot of things. Broly has a lot more potential than gohan probably because he’s the lssj. He had the upper hand in SSJ , until he got punched in the face and realised, okay, if i keep this up like this, he gonna get to my level again and overpower me. My list would be like this: 1- Broly: the guy went from being comparable to base Vegeta to forcing Gogeta to go SSB in order to defeat him, and all that only training with Paragus who, while experienced and knowledgeable in combat, is on Saiyan Saga levels in terms of power, thus if he were to train with Goku, master both his SSJ and LSSJ transformation and achieve others, such as SSJ2 or even SSG and SSB, he would undoubtedly become the strongest mortal on the DB Multiverse. 2- Gohan: While Jiren has proven himself to be extremely powerful and to have a gigantic potential, the main reason why I put Gohan above him is the fact that Gohan isn't really consistent with his training but still manages to grow in power with just a little training, the dude overpowered Dyspo on the Anime after training for about two hours with Piccolo and stalemated Kefla in the Manga, if he were to train with Whis or even train regularly, he could surpass all of Universe 7 fighters perhaps even Broly, he could even combine God Ki with his Potential Unleashed state and achieve a new transformation that no one else as seen, all of that not accounting for his rage boosts which might even rival Broly's. 3- Jiren: The man surpassed a GoD just training, no transformation and no God Ki, that alone is a testament to his potential, if he obtained God Ki he would surpass almost anyone, with only the Grand Priest and maybe the Angels surpassing him. 4- Uub: 5 years old and fought a Goku who's at least as strong as Kid Buu, combine that with the revelation that Kid Buu had Supreme Kai's God Ki and that Goku trains him to become Earth's protector, which means Goku sees in Uub the potential to be the strongest there is, and that proves that Uub's potential is incredible. 5- Goten/Trunks: Perhaps the most polemic item, but Goten and Trunks both have an amazing potential, they accessed and mastered SSJ at young ages, not even requiring the usual rage trigger, and pressured both Full Power SSJ Gohan and Vegeta while children, despite only training by brawling against each other for fun, if they were formally trained by someone like Master Roshi or Piccollo or Whis, they would undoubtedly achieve power levels that would comparable to, if not superior, to the ones showcased by SSB Goku and Vegeta during the ToP.

I would put him tied with either Gohan or Jiren in terms of potential, while he was weaker than Gohan when he was revived and after four months of training he managed to one-shot him in his first form, the same Gohan that defeated Ginyu, who's power while using Tagoma's body rivaled that of Buu Saga Ultimate Gohan, in Super Saiyan with relative ease, he is incredibly powerful and displays a great potential, on par with Gohan's or, at the very least, Jiren.

@king emfj3201 You do have a point when it comes to Jiren, the main reason reason why I added him to the list is the fact that he was even stated by Whis to have infinite potential, so I took that in consideration, perhaps it would be better to give Frieza his spot, but I don't know if Frieza truly surpasses Gohan, after all, while both massively increased in power in a very short time span, Gohan's increase is, in my opinion, more impressive because it took him just a few hours to achieve their power levels, while it took Frieza a few months, both are impressive feats, but Gohan's just seems to be greater in my opinion.

Genuinely my bets are to Uub. The simple reasoning is that potential is linked to ki growth directly and having a power level equal to Kid Buu from birth automatically gives you a drastic head start. If he were to spend the next twenty or thirty years training like Goku or Jiren, the sky really is the limit.

guess what? broly surpassed with ease all of goku and vegeta power increases, and he have no drawbacks like gogeta do.. they can stay in that form in SSB for just 7 minutes, thats why they took it to the last hita as fast as possible, they didnt tried to "play" with broly like they normally do when fuse. TL;DR Broly doesnt even needed to train at any point to force both goku and vegeta to fusion with ssb, if he managed to withstand for just 7 minutes they probably would have been murdered by broly cuz his power level was already increasing to the point of gogeta blue ++ at that point

Mui like every form is a power multiplier plus a physical enhancer with an auto dodge added to it. Goku in his base is already more powerful than Roshi. So if you give Roshi Mui it wouldn’t be as strong on him as Goku. Roshi most likely would get stomped by Jiren even in that form.

That's why UI got stronger and stronger until it reached MUI because Goku was getting deeper and deeper into the state of mind which gave him a stronger transformation as the fight went on. It's also why Goku speed increased in MUI even after he mastered it when Jiren first got a power up and knocked Goku down.

According to Perfect Power Level List wiki, Kefla's power level is 40 Quintillion. That's 40,000,000,000,000,000. Vegito Blue's power level is 180 Billion. That's 180,000,000,000. Vegito Blue was also weaker than Super Saiyan Rage Trunks. Trunks beat Fused Zamasu while Vegito Blue failed to do so.

1. Hit should be on the list somewhere. He was shown to improve far faster than any saiyan can, his only downside is his improvements don’t necessarily result in raw power like it does for saiyans. 2. People give gohan too much credit... his potential being limitless was debunked when he had his potential unlocked, literally meaning all his potential was released to be used already. Not saying he can’t still improve but the FACT of the matter is he probably doesn’t have much more room to grow (aside from plot-power ups) 3.
