ROLES OF A HUSBAND 1. Leader Ephesians 5:23 Being a leader is a posture of service. To husband is to manage. Mark 10:45 To be a good leader he needs to be a good follower 2. Learner 1 Peter 3:7 Learn your wife don't compare her. Find out how your partner receives love 3. Loyal partner Hebrews 13:4 Boundaries are not because you don't trust yourself. Boundaries are to protect you from crossing a line when the lesser you shows up. Set boundaries to protect your union 4. Provider 1 Timothy 5:8. You can dream and earn. Don't choose to be idle and lazy. Have a vision. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children 5. Protector Ephesians 5:28. If you're dealing with self hate don't rush to be married. Awareness brings healing What doesn't define a godly man is his height, income range. Remove the veil of deception from your eyes. Marriage is a beautiful thing

I truly desire to be a Godly husband to understand and learn my future Wife. To pray for her, to protect and provide for her and sing to her and cook for her and walk with her and sing in the rain of God!!! My hands will be used to hold her passionately and to HEAL HER by the anointing of the Holy Spirit..... my first marriage failed due to lies, and infidelity and not on my end but hers. Whom the son sets free he is free indeed.... I serve a God of a Second chance. Forgiveness is a must but reconciliation is not always made available when the relationship first is not based off a GOD ORFAINED COVENANT...

I want what God knows I deserve and while I’m working to get ready, my heart is still healing in faith and hope bc I’m so vulnerable when it comes to Gods way. love this!❤ I came here after a failed dating experience and these vidoes (both this and the one about "Who is a Godly Wife") helped me to realize that you can try your best to exemplify these traits but if a person is damaged and hasn't healed properly from their trauma then they probably won't be able to recognize your worth because their wounds will cause them to desire something else that might not be what is best for them. Their souls will crave things that they have developed an appetite for based on their trauma. (eg. vanity, flashiness, and sometimes even hostility)

My notes: Stephanie Ike: What is a Godly husband? // Before I Do. Who is a husband? A man who enters a legally or culturally recognized union out of mutual love and a desire to build a life together. Ephesians 5:22 wives submit to your husband Pray for him if you feel he isn’t (don’t give up easy) Don’t rush .. know how he thinks, is he a man that can lead, what’s his views on things.. get into his head. See if this is someone you can do life with 5 roles of a Godly husband. 1) he is a leader (eph 5:23) A mam shouldn’t abuse this role It’s a posture of service. The Lord is entrusting you with this woman , that’s why she is submitting Response for management. Be a good manager of your home Mark 10:45 Eph 5:25 Jesus is the model for the husband Leads by how he loves/leads by example He doesn’t mistreat you he embodies love. Leads as a servant **A good leader is a good follower of Jesus Christ ** 1 Peter 3:7 Deut 5:9 Generational curses fall though the Father deut 5:9 says this Dishonor would cause God to shut his ears to the ears of the man You have to be submitted to Jesus / be rooted in the word 1 Peter 37 2)he is a learner Learn your wife, don’t compare her Ask love languages When you learn them, it will deepen the bond The Lord with give you wisdom Heb 13:4 3) he’s faithful Boundaries are for when the lesser you shows up .. the flesh etc. if you don’t have boundaries in place, then you will cross the line Boundaries are for when your weak 4 1 Timothy 5:8 he is a provider Do what works for YOUR family Dads may have to be stay at home dad instead of the wonan.. he’s not doing it from a place of laziness but a place of strategy.. A man who chooses to be lazy, idol and the consequences is his family experiencing lack. The Bible says you are worse than a unbeliever The lie of the enemy will say a man taking a lesser job to help out at home ..diminishes who u are as a man/husband Don’t let your wife break her back bc you are lazy Know it is seasons in marriage 5 he is a protector Ephesians 5:28 If u have ever laid hands on your wife , she is not the problem , you are and you need help. If you are dealing with self hate, do not rush to get married. If you hate yourself, it is going to show in your marriage. Take time to work on you Heal what is broken No matter what a woman has done, u are the problem if u put your hands on her. Awareness bring healing What doesn’t define a Godly husband? 1) his height 🤣 culture will mess you up! Shared this bc women of the list they have made of what makes a man an eligible bachelor Being a provider doesn’t mean he has to have 6 figures right now. **Prayer for single women** God remove the vail of deception from my eyes The lack of options becomes the things that opens your eyes What motivated my “list”? A man seeing hisself as the prize is not good Marriage is fun Closed with prayer
