"Failure is the only thing that gets you to success" Words to live by! Its always been crazy to me that people are so afraid to fail; there is always new opportunity when things don't go exactly as planned. The comment @b1ker makes about the wake up call with the different types of mountain bikes hit me hard in the past couple of weeks. I'm in the same boat... 46 years old, my Rockhopper is 15? years old, and I had no idea there was so much nuance now, so many different geometric details to think about, etc. Plus, I'm in tech too. So, I'm now exploring youtube and discovering all this awesome content and learning how the world has indeed changed and excited to get brought up to speed. He is about to get a new subscriber. Thanks for y'all's videos!

Ok, so B1KER has a new subscriber. Can't wait to check out your vids. As far as the part of the interview about the appeal of youtubers, the thing I was most drawn to with Brian's channel was watching the progression. Average guy working on new skills, building courage, and trying increasingly challenging trails. It's relateable, as well as, inspiring. Especially when you come back to a trail you didn't do so well on last year, then crush it the 2nd time. It's fun to watch. Keep it up guys!

Haha great interview....I had a similar experience with the bike store story earlier this year. I bought a dually after not riding for 6 years, my old bike was a 15 year old xc Kona hard tail. The dropper post lever on the handle bars blew my mind and I felt pretty stupid when I said to the sales guy “ I hope there is an instruction manual for the suspension”. Anyway got my head around all that now and totally obsessed again - all or nothing - haha.

Good One. I subscribed to Roberts Channel the other day. I like that he is in Norcal and that i could probably keep up with him on the climbs. :)

Brian, Rob!!!! This is great and truthfully u guys covered a ton of "real" stuff. Specifically starting a KZbin channel, I'm at a point where I want to do that but my personal life, makes me think it will suck. And I have done one channel b4 and the sting of the suck still kinda hurts. But u guys are really encouraging me to giving it a try again.

Who cares if it sucks. If it makes you happy it’s the right thing to do.

B1KER yeah, I'm still figuring content and I still need a bike... Or at least a go ahead on this trail project for my town.... And being able to just throw out professionalism and be me, while most likely by my lonesome... Is just kinda weird.. At least for me.
