I'm reposting this since many army still don't know accurate info about Jimin.❤️JIMIN, at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey! JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals. JIMIN has won the prestigious titles for 2 yrs in a row for both KING OF KPOP, as well as also winning BEST TOP #1 DANCER IN KPOP, 2 yrs in a row, as well!! Jimin is also referred to as "Rookie's Bible" because all rookie idols, try to emulate & study every move he makes, trying to learn from him! Aside from all that Jimin has won other countless award, broken many records. His 4 solos have broken charting records worldwide, as well as being top seller, plus most listened to. I'm so proud of jimin he was the last member to join with the shortest period of training with no vocal lessons but he worked the hardest for himself to be the only lead vocalist the second position after main Vocalist it was not easy for anyone to get that position but he did it and he's considering one of the best and unique vocals and also he's the main dancer for a reason there is nothing to talk about his dance he's the best 💖

They do have a choreographer but they have the artistic freedom to put in their suggestions. JHope does participate in the choreography development. You have to see the documentaries (Burn the Stage) that shows their early days. Watch the series The Rise of Bangtan. It’s so well put together.

Jimin was the last to join BTS and had the shortest training period of all the guys : just three months in total. And no he didn't know how to sing before but he taught himself to sing just from watching other singers and he's one of the most talented and beautiful vocalists in the industry now. I'm so proud of him

Is it true Jimin was almost kicked out of BTS because he couldn't dance the style of BTS choreo because he came from contemporary dance style? I think I heard J-hope telling Jimin he was close to being kicked out quite a few times.

@@iwubfood1 jimin thought he would be. Because the company didn't give him a vocal coach or help him transition from contemporary to hip hop. He had to learn all that himself in 3 months as a 16 year old. But I don't think the company ever seriously considered kicking him out. They wouldn't have made him the lead singer and main dancer if they thought he wasn't one of the best since Taejin had already been training for longer. And Jhope never said Jimin said himself that he was scared he might be

Another one is I heard that J-hope only learned to rap when he joined BTS and didn't rap at all before that but he did in fact rap before joining BTS. Can you confirm this about J-hope?

They have a in house Choreographer. Also, they often collaboration with other choreographers. I think JHope can pick up the choreo quicker so that he then can teach it to the rest of the members and do some "variations".

They do have choreographers. Dance leader is not a choreography-creative position. Leadership and creativity can overlap, but it is not required to make original choreo in order to be dance leader. If you check their recent backstage footage from the five live performances they did for the Fallon show half a year ago (footage shared on BangtanTV a couple of days ago), you will see both j-hope and Jimin acting as dance leaders during rehearsals. Glad you guys are still going. I appreciate the genuineness of you work.

Suga is very introverted but he does definitely speak his mind, alot of new fans have a big misconception when it comes to his personality because he can be savage but he's also so goofy especially with the other members

Many people have a missconception about us introverts, we aren't cold or shy or afraid to speak our mind, not at all. We just recharge by ourself and get drained from being around alot of people and sounds faster then others and rather listen then be in the center. I almost only have very extroverted friend and when we hang out I can be the more talkative and crazy often too. But extroverts want to be round peole every day and I enjoy seeing people every now and then and spend my time alone for the most part.

I really like that you're doing this, can't wait for the next one, but I think you misunderstood something in J-Hope's part. They do have amazing professional choreographers, it said Hobi learns the routines fastest and helps the others with their routines. He also, at least used to, train younger Big Hit trainees on dance. These guys can spend 2 or 3 years as trainees before their debut stage (performance). They are all trained in singing, dancing, rapping, writing, other aspects of performance. Yes, undoubtedly you are gonna be scolded at some point if you have a favorite. Hopefully you won't have one of those people in your viewers. Nothing at all wrong with it. I am Jimin biased to the core of my soul and won't ever Jimout but I recently went through a Jungkook phase, the man is perfect at every single thing he does! Right now I am obsessed with all things Meow Meow, Yoongi, Min Suga and Agust D. The duality slays. The tongue technology is real. Anyway I think most BTS watchers and ARMY realize how much each individual's unique talents and flavors make the whole thing work and BTS is 7. That's the only way it works. 💜 Sorry to just blabber on. Again. 😉

Just want to let u know. A fun fact.. that Jimin before he debute with bangtan, he feel the most anxious. He has no singing background, and the dance he major/mastered is far difference from what boy group always do. Jimin almost not gonna make it in the group. So he has to learn from early, practise and practise till u see 'him' today. That's why members say he is the most hardworking in the group.

bts work with alot of choreographes. and they have one who was with them since the start but he doesn't choreo anything anymore he mostly just helps some memebers to learn the choreos and make them practice that s all. jhope and jimin do help the other members too and that's it. and the only choreo that the memebers choreographed is spin breaker and jimin and jhope choreographed silver spoon. jimin also come up with the hat trick in bullet proof2. and the kicking part in no more dreams and added some move to airplane2. that s all I know about the memebers help in choreos if anyone knows more please share with me
