In bon voyage they travel to a different country and are given a daily budget and have to fend for themselves with no help on traveling from staff. @@bonobonoyaaa.....7729 Exactly. My understanding is that ‘Soop’ means ‘forest’, basically because of the pandemic it was a way to get away while being isolated for pandemic reasons, and still give content to make Army happy in trying times. They had said they wanted to take a break to explore individual creativity for a bit before the pandemic started, but when it did, they stayed together to do things as BTS to help Army through the pandemic blues we all had. Now that it’s more under control, they are resuming the chance to do some solo work and expand themselves as individuals. I have faith they will continue as BTS someday. My guess is, the hiatus is also so they all can get their military required commitments completed.

yes correct as in the soop is exchange for bon voyage probably maybe after their break which actually was planned after the 2020 world tour , at that time after Map of the Soul 7 they should take a break and start solo promotions. Yet due plandemic they needed to postpone solo promotions so in the soop was a part in between of the band promotions new music album and stuff to make them relax but due they couldn't travel abroad they made them a form of staycation.

I turn 50 in a couple weeks. I became Army in September last year. Before then, I actively avoided them for so long because of crazy fans, not realizing those few crazy fans were outliers. I also had preconceived notions too about what they would be like. I stumbled across a choreography video and then Blood, Sweat, and Tears and then tumbled down the rabbit hole. They are my every waking hour when not at work and doing other adulting crap. Now I adore these boys so much. I went to two concerts in Vegas in April. By myself from Alaska. To a town I swore never to go to. To see these boys with my own eyes. I have always been into alternate, techno, industrial, and metal… then somehow I am here now. I did not see this coming, but I am so here for it.

As someone who worked for Tower Records at the beginning of the Grunge scene (went out for drinks by Layne Staley of Alice In Chains, and shared a house with Greg Dulli of Afghan Whigs and Nate Mendel of Foo Fighters), I had the opportunity to learn about and love so many genres of music. (Yeah, I’m an older Army). As I grew to love BTS, I took a lot of ridicule from friends and family -it made me realize how biased and close-minded people can be, and these are often people who you would never expect that from. One thing I am certain of is that I can’t respect those that won’t hear BTS or that denigrate them because they consider themselves “too cool” to like them. If someone’s fear of being judged dictates what art they will see or music they will hear, that to me is the epitome of a lack of self-esteem. I too have lost friends over this, but I have found new Army friends for life. BTS’s talent and skill brought me here, and their heart, humor, and who they are at their core is what keeps me here. And Taylor Nakamoto totally rocks. 💜

An interesting thing I noticed as a kpop fan, a LOT of us come from metal/punk backgrounds, myself included. Personal opinion, both metal and punk being less mainstream we were already in the frame of mind that we LOOK for good music, and when we find something that resonates with us we embrace it fully. Additionally, I believe that metal and punk has many of the same aesthetics as kpop. Surface wise, bright and colorful hair, unusual clothing/costume choices that may not follow gender norms, and makeup/nail polish regardless of gender. I think this makes us more likely to realize these are simply part of the aesthetic and we are more able to move past it and into the music and lyrics quickly. All of the above and the grace of being in my 40s....I just have a whole lot of IDGAF anymore. I like what I like, others don't have to. I can respect their opinions without allowing them to effect my personal preferences. Walk the path that works for you. If they matter, they won't mind..and if they do, they don't matter rings very true as you move through life. Thanks for your reactions! 💜💞 P.S. My first BTS song was Fake Love.

I'm 16 years old, I became their fan just last year but I already know them for a long period of time. Believe it or not but I was 9 years old when I first heard the name "BTS" in the church. I heard them whispering "BTS" and one of the member named "Rap Monster", then I thought "Another group, I bet they are going to disappear from fame after a few months". At that time, I don't have a phone or gadgets, I don't know internet and social medias. So, I thought they are going to disappear then as time passed by, I still hear "BTS"😃. I heard random people walking on the street, talking about a group "BTS" and I always remember "Rap Monster"😂. I saw random street vendors selling their posters, I always looked at their faces, one of the members caught my attention, RM (I don't know their names, I don't know RM is Rap Monster but I always look at him whenever I see BTS). I'm surprised because they are still famous in my country. I was 12 when I first had my phone but I still don't know how to use internet 😀. That time, I heard one of my classmate mentioning "BTS, I want to ask if there is a member named "Rap Monster" but I'm too shy. After years, COVID-19 came and it affected me. Financial problem, self-hate and one of my friends commited suicide, etc. The world is gloomy and dark at that time for me. I can't smile and I can't laugh, I tried listening to other music but no effect. I came across BTS' Dynamite, I watched it and magically I became happy, I thought "This is music!". I tried to listen to their other songs and I found myself cheering up from my negative thoughts. I became interested to know their names and I am disappointed because there wasn't any member named "Rap Monster" but RM became my bias because I like his vibes ☺. I am surprised when I found out that RM and Rap Monster is the same person 😃. I learned a lot from them. As for hate in the internet, I ignored them. BTS is famous in my school, so all the students and teachers know them. Fortunately, there's no hate but just ignorance and curiosity. For example, the other day, my classmates are asking me if BTS is disbanding and I said no and explained them what happened.

I knew of BTS but never listened to them due to my own prejudices with the language barrier. I didnt dislike them personally I just thought how can I relate to them if I cant understand them but boy was I wrong. The song that got me to click on them was their cover of Ill be missing you and from there I was hooked. BTS made me realize that music transcend all language barriers and i thank them for that.As for Bon voyage like others have said they travel there are 4 seasons many say their favorite was season 4 but ill probably be the odd one out and say I loved the 1st season . They were so out of their element and most of them had hardly traveled and to watch them navigate the world was amazing. BTS have earned their place as the best group in the world, im not just saying it because im a fan , or they make good music but of who these amazing young men have become as human being and through their music and messages they have contributed a lot to society and that rare in any kind of group. Lastly Army are like no other fan base , yes we are protective, passionate and very loyal to the boys but as a group we are a force for good in this world just like BTS. Anyway enough of me babbling another amazing reaction thank you. Oh and thank you Taylor as well.

As an older ARMY whose other favorite music tends to be bands like Ghost, Disturbed, MCR, etc, I get picked on a lot by my family and peers over my huge love for BTS, but honestly I feel bad for people who let their preconceived notion of "this thing is silly and not for me" stop them from discovering things they might really love and enjoy. I was skeptical of BTS before, mostly because I'd heard not great things about stan Twitter and "crazy kpop fans" and didn't want to be a part of that, but then I saw them on Carpool Karaoke and thought they were so fun and talented, so I looked them up to find out their names and the rest is history. I've been to seven concerts, have two BTS-themed tattoos, and my playlist has been taken over by their huge discography. Honestly life is too short to not love what you love. Screw the haters. As for this video - I love it, it's one of the better introductions and captures lots of cool stuff about each member. All the guys are so multifaceted that I don't think any intro video does them justice and some can kind of lean into old things that ARMY latched onto that don't necessarily fit the guys now, but you'll discover more of what fits as you get into their content outside of music (Run, Bon Voyage, In the Soop, the docu-series). I'm a Suga bias, for example, and a lot of the intro videos lean into RM's intelligence and Jin's sense of humor, but Yoongi is incredibly street smart and has a wicked sense of humor, too. All of them are smart, but Jimin and Jin are also remarkably intelligent and I don't think that gets much focus. To be fair, the videos can only be so long, and Taylor has done an amazing job. So thank you, Taylor! I've loved watching your reactions and I look forward to seeing you watch In the Soop and Bon Voyage and Run - I love them and they're such fun shows and relaxing to watch.

Like something brushing against my inner ear; odd, but not unpleasant. But I know how easily someone else might find it painful. Or even how, on another day, I might. Still, for the most part, they are quite "restful" for my ears. But it's strange when other people are enjoying music, and you're just thinking "Make it stop!" because it's so painful. It's - nice? - to know I'm not alone like that. Still, I am also sorry that you feel the same pain and discomfort. Take care. Borahae 💜

*What was the first song that got me into BTS?* Well, Dynamite was my first BTS song, and DNA. I watched them on a reactors channel in October of 2020, when I was watching Blackpink reactions. My daughter had introduced me to Blackpink, and I liked them a lot. I kept hearing about BTS, and seeing them in my suggestions, but I kept avoiding their videos. I didn't want to get into boy bands. (preconceived notions). Then I finally gave in and watched the reaction. It was Kim Namjoon that drew me in, with his blue hair, deep voice, and sparkling eyes (and his dimple). Jimin's voice though. Their dancing and their confidence, as well as overall performance. But the song that made me BTS ARMY was Black Swan. I resonated with that one. Their message and personalities is what made me ARMY. They are so genuine, confident, talented, and compassionate. And they have swag for days. Anyway, I could go on and on. BTS was exactly what I needed during the pandemic, and they became people I love.💜 I love Taylor. Thank you Taylor for your amazing work. I have subscribed to her channel, and I've watched both of her videos multiple times. I even voted on her polls. Good reaction. Thanks.

I love how RM categorized the percentage of their Success, instead of saying cliche things like "Oh I'll give 100% to our Fans" He mentioned Everyone who is behind their Success, n thts a Great Leader right there. BTS don't fake it, like many other Artists do. n Even tho BTS is the one who made Army and their small company This big by their Hardwork, Amazing Music n Lyricism, he still gave themselves a small portion of their Success when they r the one who deserves the most, thts why I love BTS 💜💜

My first BTS song I ever heard was when Boy with Luv first came out! I find it funny that the first person I saw in the music video and heard was Jimin, as he starts the song, because he instantly became my bias and has been ever since haha. I also normally don't gravitate towards the style of music that Boy with Luv is, but I could tell there was something different and special about them. I feel like I really became ARMY after watching their show RUN! BTS and learning about their personalities. To me they are like the funniest people in the world, plus super talented musically AND the sweetest people so how can you not love them :)

My daughter who loves music got into BTS and I liked songs I could sing along to which was hard when I don't speak Korean. But I saw them on Ellen and I saw some of their personalities, their energy, their talent, their professionalism performing Mic Drop and Airplane ll. I had so much respect for them, I started to look into them more and listened to more of their songs. I was hooked, I liked everything I heard and saw of BTS and ARMY. I found that they are helping me through one of the toughest times in my life and I am learning to love myself more little by little. Bon Voyage is when they they take us on their travel abroad and In the Soop is when they take us on their time away in the forest. Bon Voyage is like traveling to different countries and experiencing different cities. In the Soop happened during pandemic so they traveled to a secluded area and the 1st season was more like camping and fishing by a lake, which happens to be my families favorite thing to do. I am so sorry that people are giving you a hard time at all, you are so positive, accepting and give off a great vibe all the time. I hope you get more love and acceptance from here on out. I like every genre of music but I say I favored alternative and hair metal music so I loved that BTS has a vast array of music. I was not a fan of most American rap but I find that I favor BTS's rap songs more. RM is my bias but I am also OT7. I often cannot believe I like every one of their songs, dances and meanings. The amazing thoughts and meaning behind all of their work amazes me. I love everything about BTS and ARMY, their love, mind, heart, and soul. Thank you Taylor. Thank you John, I love watching your journey 🤘🏼. Much love. 💜

Thank you, Taylor. My first song was "On." I watched their carpool karaoke, thought they were funny and was a little curious about them. (Curiosity gets us all as cliche as it is - "I just want to know their names...") Then the On Kinetic Manifesto showed up on my recommends. I was amazed. Then Mic Drop sealed the deal and well, here we are. Also, your friends need to get over themselves. Why does you exploring BTS have anything to do with them? No one is asking them to like BTS or even listen to them (although they should at least hear some stuff before deciding they hate it). My best friend and I both enjoy reading and mostly like the same genre of books, but I happen to enjoy action thrillers (which she does not) and she likes horror (which I do not). We don't give hate to the other for our choices of enjoyment. It makes no difference for our friendship. Just keep doin' you, John! 💜
@Tke2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I wouldn't even worry about the people who decide to send hate because you're not fully reacting to metal, a surprising amount of metal KZbinrs have shown support for BTS and kpop in general. It's even become a kind of running gag, you can find plenty just by searching. But if you ARE willing to branch out a little more into kpop, there's a female group called Dreamcatcher who's songs are a mix of hard rock, metal, and badass anime songs. They're also touring in the US within a month, they're a popular choice for most metal fans that want to explore outside of BTS. But your reaction was wonderful, it's always amazing to see people learning new things and being able to share how excited they are to learn more about the boys. The main difference between Bon Voyage, along with it being in a different country, is that they're given a limited budget by staff and then set off into the country they're in. That means translating, budgeting, groceries and things is all done by them. Whereas for In The Soop, they're asked before to make a list of things they want to do on a relaxing vacation in a random location, and the company supplies it all while they're free to do whatever they wish. I can't wait to watch more from you (also I got really distracted by that outro song while you were talking about the video... FFVIII? One of my favorites. 💜)

to be honest , i brushed off Kpop for many years coz i thought why would i listen to something i dont understand?! all my friends, co workers were into it and i just couldnt relate. then 4 years ago, i was grieving for my cousin's death and was just in a daze for months so i was just absent-mindedly surfing the internet, watching YT videos just to pass the time. then i came across a korean game show where celebrity geniuses answer MENSA-level questions and explain the answers. thats where i first saw Namjoon. he was so cool! i checked out his group and said ah this is BTS! so i watched their MVs and i loved the lyrics and the messages they put out. i couldnt pinpoint the exact BTS song that made me ARMY. maybe Crystal Snow, Butterfly or The Queen, Spring Day. or Namjoon's MONO . i got out of that slump, thanks to their music which was like therapy to me. and i regretted why i didnt check them out sooner. 💜

That scene at the end of Wembley always gives me goosebumps. To have all those people learn Korean lyrics and sing their song to them in a primarily English speaking country must have been so surprising and affirming. I know it wasn’t just English speakers there, but other languages as well. Amazing. Hang in there John. I don’t know why people have to be so mean. You are just appreciating something new outside your genre because you love all music.

Danger technically was the first song I heard of them back in 2014, however, the song that I'd say had me cross over from fan to full blooded ARMY was Butterfly. I had just lost my best friend to su!cide & that song, its lyrics, & stage I related to so intensely that I knew these guys were different. That song said everything I had wished I had said to my friend. It perfectly incapsulated my thoughts & feelings that I was having through my grief over her loss. I've been ARMY ever since. It was the best decision I've ever made 💜💜💜

I was first introduced to BTS almost four years ago by my sister with the MV "Fake Love". I thought thr song was beautiful but it took me some time to really appreciate BTS, after seen more content from them. Soon after one of the most difficult times in my life happened and BTS (and k-pop in general, but mostly BTS) helped me to go through this "darker times". Well, I'm still struggling until this day, unfortunately my life is very tough but art is my escape, it's one of my main reasons to keep going (along with my cats) so I'm very thankful to them. And I'm OT7, can't pick a bias even if my life depends on it (I hope it never happens 😆).

I actually found BTS while I was watching reaction videos of their funny moments and crack videos. I didn’t even know they where singers. However I started watching people react to their lyrics. (I also realized that Dynamite was them! I heard all over the place but didn’t know until later) During covid and going to school I was kind of lonely. So I went to YT to watch videos. I realized watching their funny videos I started laughing more and comforting me during covid. I seen people react to the lyrics to; Epiphany, Mikrokosmos, and Answer: Love Yourself. These songs and their messages made me decide to call myself Army. I loved how humble they are, kind, caring, accepting, etc. Majority of their messages I agree with or respect. I know I mentioned this already but I will say them again. While a few things (very little) I don’t fully agree with BTS or maybe some ARMY, I think these quotes really say what I want to say: “Cannot boundary lines exist without being battle lines?” -Nelson “We don’t have to agree on anything to be kind to each other.” Also it is amazing that BTS built a community of accepting and love. While ARMY come different parts of the world, have different perspectives, religions, language, age, gender, etc. We all come together with our love for music, BTS, their messages, and even helping each other. Once again I sorry to hear all the negative comments/people…I love your positivity 💜 Borahae Edit: BTS make me want to be a better person and all the members we can learn from…

I have heard about BTS first in maybe 2015 around Dope release. That was when I got a Twitter account and saw a lot of people talking about them. I also think I actually saw Blood Sweat & Tears when it released, but I didn't have a KZbin profile, since I barely came here. So I pretty much forgot all about them for a while. Then in 2019, since I still kept hearing about kpop and BTS in particular I thought I would check them out. I saw Boy With Luv trending, so I watched it, but that particular song was not something that could sell me on them at that time. I thought it was catchy, but didn't really grow attached. I randomly played a few of their songs on Spotify and even added Euphoria into my playlist, but that was the end of it at the time. Then in 2020, one of my close friends became ARMY after watching ON Kinetic Manifesto and wouldn't stop talking about them 😂. I wanted to know what was so special about them and started watching their music videos. Though the very first video I watched at that time was actually a live performance of Boy With Luv they did for James Corden in their studio when quarantine started. I remember texting my friend and asking her who was the guy in the pink sweatshirt, because I thought he was the coolest 😂. It was Suga 😂. I've watched a lot of their MVs over the summer and even watched the Dynamite premiere, but I was still just a casual listener. Didn't know their names (though I watched an introduction video, I didn't internalize much of it), didn't really know much about them in general. It was in October 2020 that my friend decided I should start listening to their b-sides. So she sent me Magic Shop and said I would probably like it. It was an understatement. Love at first listen. I admit I looped the song for like three days straight (didn't know about streaming rules then, lol), looked up the lyrics and tried to learn them in terrible Korean pronounciation. And I started learning BTS' names and their history and just fell down the rabbit hole completely. Fun fact though: the very first video I actually seen from BTS was before their debut. They released a Harlem Shake challenge 😂. After I became ARMY I came across that video again and I remembered that I have seen that one back in the day 😂

My first ever BTS song was Boy with Luv MV. Not my taste, I grow with Scorpions, Dire Straits, Queen, Mettalica, LedZeppelin and all this rock/metal music, and I've never heard about BTS or even Kpop at th time. But the song was so poppy, bright, the MV so colorful, the guys so energetic and Jimin... well Jimin captivated me at the first gaze (and he still do, years later) . I wanted to know more about the group, their music, their story , the guys personality, and then I fall deeply and joyfully in the rabbit hole. They help me a lot during hard time, and I need them I my daylilife. I get a lot of bad comments , not really hateful, but contemptuous for loving BTS and talk about them on my FB account, and in my real life. People are so closeminded ! But nevermind ! (a raw Suga's song, and a word that Jimin ongrave on his chest...) Suga said also you will love our music if you listen without prejudice, and it's true. I'm proud to be an Army. PS: little request : can you please pause the video when you talk ? Because 1: we can't hear you well and 2/ you miss some part of the video. Thank you John.

I discovered BTS in elementary school. N.O randomly popped up in my KZbin recommendations, I was an active listener to groups like SNSD and Super Junior at the time but not the newer groups. I was heavily bullied because all of a sudden I started growing and developing acne. I started listening to BTS and became an army in 2015. I saw them as older brothers/uncles that were super wise. During middle school the love yourself series was a big help to me finding a way to love myself. I remember wanting to share BTS with everyone because they were just so amazing from music to their personalities to their content to the messages they put out. When they started taking off in America from the Love Yourself Her album, many people around me started hating on them. I didn’t understand why even when they explained it was due to the language barrier and because they were, well, a kpop group. Seeing the boys win awards and perform at American Award shows was super exciting. The more famous BTS got throughout the years, the more I had to hide my love for them even now. I started listening to many more artists in kpop whom are really talented too but never lost sight of BTS. They are the sole reason why I’m still alive. It’s great to see how they’ve grown throughout the years even if I wasn’t with them from the start. The Grammy nominations and the trip to the White House made me cry, it’s crazy seeing how influential and sincere they are with what they do. It’s great they’re taking a break to rest and focus on themselves, couldn’t be happier for them to enjoy themselves and expand their solo music. When they come back as a group it’ll start their next chapter and will be even better.

I had my preconceptions about BTS too, I had heard about them probably in 2018 ish but never actually checked them out. I have heard kpop before because one of my college bffs was into it during 2010 ish, and I remember the group she was into had catchy songs but the lyrics esp in Eng rap was mostly meaningless so I kinda judged BTS without even checking out their lyricism. I found out my favourite athlete was a fan so I checked out their dance practices and performances in early 2021, and was wow’ed. Then I came cross a subbed Magic Shop live performance and that song was my ARMY moment. I was having a hard time at the time and I just starting sobbing during Magic Shop. I clearly remember that as the ‘Ah I’m ARMY’ moment. I have friends who would make snide remarks about BTS (she was a rock fan) and saying how listening to their music is like torture and I’m ??? cuz objectively speaking even if the music isn’t to your taste, they really don’t make bad music? Basically I just don’t speak to those friends about BTS lol I have my ARMY friends for that. Interestingly Suga said he wants to do more genres of music so he’s been writing game ost, commercial ost in the recent year. Thank you Taylor, amazing job

I love Bon Voyage and also In The Soop. In The Soop is much more relaxed and chill, since they're literally just enjoying a vacation together, although they do have to fix their own meals which can be it's own kind of fun. Preparing at least two meals a day for seven hungry young men is not easy. Whenever you get around to watching In The Soop, I strongly suggest that you make sure to eat something first. If you don't you'll end up very hungry watching the show. Bon Voyage, on the other hand, is a bit like Run! BTS in that the boys are given missions to carry out while on the trip. These missions teach them life skills that they might not have any opportunity to learn otherwise, living as K-pop idols. Budgeting money, using public transportation, checking in for a flight, packing their bags for the trip, grocery shopping on a budget, etc. They learned a LOT through Bon Voyage and the process of their learning is frequently hilarious. Also, they loose things a lot. I never realized just how much they tend to forget or loose until I watched Bon Voyage. Some of them tried to check in at the wrong counter for their flight. Some of them didn't realize that they had to transfer to a different bus and walked the second leg. One of them got impatient waiting for the bus and just took the next bus to the middle of no where. They loose tickets, luggage, electronics, and more luggage all over the place. Oh, and yes, RM is scary in the kitchen and also very clumsy. You should check out one of the compilations showing why his nickname is the "God of Destruction". JK is so good at so many things that it's easier to just say that he's good at everything than to actually list all of the things that he's good at. There are compilation videos of his many talents, too. Taylor works at a company called Orig Entertainment. They have their own reaction channel with Taylor helping people in the company to react to and learn about BTS. She's awesome and I love her introduction video.

It saddens me that many are ridiculed for liking BTS or kpop in general. It is music and should be treated equally like any other genre. No music is inferior. I too, has been mocked for liking BTS. They always say, what a working adult can gain from being a fan and that I'm too old to fangirl over a boy group. Well, there's no age limit in liking music, and BTS did in fact help me a lot. I know them since they're big in my country. I just never tried to explore their music before. I only started listening to their music in 2019. Unlike many who found BTS through their popular songs, my first bts song is Nevermind. This song was recommended to me by my friend who likes BTS and has been their fan since 2015. And wow, did that song hit me deep. Then, I found Magic Shop and Answer: Love Myself. Listening to these songs I know then that I'm never stepping out of this circle.

Zero Oclock, Mikrokosmos, Answer Love Myself, Epiphany. Those songs had made me into this fandom. Every their song suits with my mood on each day, Happy, feeling loved, bored, lonely, excited, missing someone. Im surprised that their song is not simple. A lot of metaphore. But, I instantly understand that at first listening maybe because I can relate.

The first time I opened my heart to BTS was at last year's Sowoozoo Muster 2021 concert the one with the 1.33M paid viewers 😁 My ARMY cousins invited me to watch so I went with an open-mind bc I used to be super anti kpop. The song that really hooked me was when all 7 members performed Daechwita. I was like, "who tf is this?????" And after that, the rest is history

I discovered them in map of the soul soul 7 era . And fell in love with them in July 2020 because I randomly watched one of their run BTS episodes and I couldn't stop watching the show till I found myself a fan and I started listening to all their albums with live performances

I'm so sorry that you have received hate for respecting and enjoying BTS content and their music. Stick with BTS and Army you will realize that hate comes from a place of insecurity on the part of others and has nothing to do with you. It shows a lot of strength to branch out and explore something that may be outside of your comfort zone. As BTS says Love yourself and the others around you and you will find peace. As a 52 year old mother of 2 and married for 28 years I had always been a rock kind of gal. Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Queensryche, Iron Maiden, etc. I found myself drawn to the message of positivity of these guys and have never looked back.

Bon Voyage was their travel show pre-covid where they visited Europe, Hawaii, Malta and New Zealand. In The Soop was during Covid, so they stayed in Korea in 1 house with more of a staycation vibe because the world was locked down.

This is such an amazing video from Taylor... the best out there and we all love and thank her for her dedicated hard work and time. So glad you watched it but sad to hear you personally have met with negativity from some for the reactions becauae you definitely dont deserve it. At this stage anyone dissing BTS clearly knows nothing about them or what they stand for both as artists and compassionate human beings. Unfortunately some people refuse to take their blinkers off which is sheer ignorance and yet... it is them judging BTS and us a shallow minded or obsessed fans of the superficial lol 💜

The first song that got me into BTS was "Idol". I was at my lowest and BTS came in while screaming the lyrics "you can't stop me loving myself" gave me strength. That's when I knew - I need to know more.

I hope negative commenters or kpop haters don't stop you from continuously exploring BTS and the world of K-pop. BTS is arguably very different from other Kpop artists; Even native Koreans acknowledge this. And I can confidently say they are the only group that has stayed true to who they are as artists and role models of today's generation. They aren't the typical "boy band"...In fact, I would never associate BTS with the word boy band. The term "boy band" holds such a negative connotation of industry figures who aren't creative and just "do it for fame and money". BTS isn't like that; and with time, I'm sure you will see that (if you haven't already). They are truly legendary artists who have shown a consistently positive mission for change. Change that challenges society's "traditional" norms. I'm honored to be living in the same era as BTS. I am a proud ARMY. BTS is changing the world.

6:49 Bon Voyage is a traveling show. They go to a foreign country (for example Malta, New Zeland,...) and they get a budget and explore the country. They did it once a year for like a week or two. In The Soop was created in 2020 during covid when they couldnt travel for Bon Voyage. In The Soop translates to 'In the Forest' and it is members staying somewhere in Korea for that week long vacation and just chilling

It breaks my heart that people feel the need to drop you or talk about you simply for liking BTS. I hope you see how important ARMY is to us, that is exactly the reason why ARMY is a family. We don’t treat each other like that and we’ve all been through it. Thank you for doing what you love and not listening to people who tell you what you’re doing isn’t right. 💜

I don't really listen to pop music, I like alternative rock and old stuff so what surpirse me first was Suga, his lyricism and raw talent, his flow, his passion all of that. The rapline of BTS is amazing, I think there's a song from this band for everyone and when you find it, you can understand what this band is about and makes you enjoy and apreciate all the other songs, you'll fall into a rabbit hole and slowly but surely become a stan. Not just the music, the concepts, but the revolution this band means to the entire industry. They have such magic that can make you feel all kind of emotions and a power of healing, inspire, make you cry, make you happy. they can quickly become and endless source of happiness in your life
