Who is DC Comics Swamp Thing? More POWERFUL than you think!

This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the DC Comics character "Swamp Thing." From the botanist Alec Holland first becoming the avatar of "The Green," controlling all forms of plant life anywhere in existence, meeting Abigail Arcane and saving her from being the "Black Queen," being one of the most underrated powerful characters in the DC Universe, joining John Constantine and the Justice League Dark team, to battles with his nemesis Anton Arcane who is the avatar of "The Rot;" Let's take a look at this DC superhero, and powerful protector of The Green. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic books and science fiction characters.

You forgot to cover Alan Moore's seminal run on Swamp Thing. In it, Swamp thing discovers that he/it was not Alec Holland but rather a plant-like entity that absorbed Alec Holland's memories. That revelation was the culmination of a pivotal story arc for the character.

Oh yeah, he's definitely one of the most powerful beings in the DC universe. He's not, but basically is the avatar of the green on Earth 0/Prime Earth (on Earth 2, Green Lantern is the avatar of the green. At least, he was in the New 52). I loved the one Batman/Swamp Thing team ups when he played the shit out of Batman. Used him for his detective skills to help find the man who murdered his father. He basically promised Batman that he wouldn't take revenge. But, as soon as Batman found the him, Swamp Thing popped up, killed the guy, and rolled out lol. Batman was literally mad as shit. Screaming at him. Telling him to come back, and calling him a coward. ST didn't give two shits about lying to Batman. He just killed him and left without even thanking Batman for his help lol. It had me cracking the fuck up while reading those last few pages. You all should check that comic out. I forget the name of it, but it shouldn't be hard to find online, or here on KZbin. BTW, great video as always, Sage. Thumbs up. Also, my apologies for the long ass comment, people. I just couldn't help but to bring up that story. It was great.
