You burned it with Tim Drake. Tim did figure out who Batman was through his association (through adoption) with Dick Grayson. Tim was present at the circus performance wherein the adult Graysons died and was traumatized by the event. The trauma expressed itself by having Tim relive his seeing Dick Grayson do a quadruple somersault, something that John Grayson couldn't ever do and Batman Bruce Wayne still can't do. Some time later, Tim saw news video showing Robin doing a quadruple somersault on the way to taking down a bad guy, and Tim knew from that that Robin was Dick. After that, all he had to do was see where Dick had landed and there it was. Tim sought Bruce out, yes, but what he originally wanted was to convince Dick to become Robin again. Of course, Dick actually could not do that by that time, so ...

It’s Tim Drake

Great choice, it was always between Tim Drake or Dick Grayson for me. I can’t lie, my bias definitely took over the decision making.

Tim makes me sad, he is the robin that wasn't at first acknowledged by batman causing him to like try his absolute hardest just to be worthy, Now his entire concept will always be stuck, because he genuinely believes he can't be anything other then robin. My example for this is red robin (Not the most in touch with comics but just my thoughts on what I have read and seen)

@@irenethyqueen That’s fair. I think Tim never really getting out of Batman’s shadow unlike Red Hood and Nightwing is something that can be alarming. However, unlike those two, Tim actively pursued being Robin. He wanted to take on the role, which in a way makes him perfect for it. He does get pushed to the side a lot in recent times due to Damian’s increased popularity, but I think Tim has the potential to do more. I can’t say I know absolutely everything about Tim (he’s probably the one I know the least about), but I do appreciate what he brings to the character of Robin.

The order should have been 1. Tim Drake 2.Dick Grayson 3.Damian Wayne 4.Jason Todd Dick Grayson was the first Robin and many people place him too high as Robin. Dick is way better as Nightwing than Robin, and Tim Drake definitely had the best skillset to be Robin. He had acrobatics like Dick and had better detective skills than even Bruce himself.

Yeah I can definitely understand this order. I am very biased towards Grayson as Nightwing is my favourite comic book character so that has influence there. I do agree that Tim’s skills make him worthy of the top spot and I wouldn’t argue anyone that thinks so. I’ve also just read a lot more Dick Grayson Robin as opposed to Tim. More recently Batman/Superman World’s Finest, which heavily features Grayson, May have skewed my opinion further. I am more than happy to switch either character around on any given day, glad someone else thinks so highly of Tim. He does sometimes get left behind and forgotten, despite how good he actually is.

I think so too. Dick is great (pause) but he really shines as Nightwing when he becomes more than Batman. Tim Drake though is the perfect apprentice to you Batman

Overall Character development is Dick Grayson (Because Dick Grayson was Batman sidekick until he becomes Nightwing that even the heros looks up to him [especially when they show Dick Grayson overcome his trauma]) Meanwhile the best Robin mantle is Tim Drake (Because he was the First Robin that have pants and the staff [even the others Robins like Jason and Dick Grayson borrows Tim Drake red and green Robin costume and red and black one], especially when Tim Drake helps Batman to not being soo brutal against his enemies showing that he proves to Batman that he can become a great Robin [Batman was very impressed that Tim Drake detective skills are very good showing that he even admitted that he was the best Robin])

Yeah, great explanation! Tim Drake deserves more love for what he did for the Robin mantle.

Dick Grayson = best Batman Sidekick Damian Wayne = best Robin

I can respect that, especially in recent years. Damian just keeps getting better.

Tim Drake was the best Robin, before they remade him into a caricature of an 80s stereotype of gay.
