If he shot indiscriminately into a crowd he needs to be serving serveral decades in prison. Absolutely NO reason why he should be free a few years later.

So convicted of shooting into a crowd in 2017, I’m guessing that is a felony. Then, a year later he is caught with a gun but they drop that charge? A year? Didn’t he do any time for SHOOTING INTO A CROWD? Why? 2019, 2 years in prison, for what????? Out in just 2 years, then kills the rapper. They’re right, our justice system is broken.

I live near a community of about 250,000 people. I am a concerned citizen, and I make it a daily habit of reading articles in the local newspaper related to crimes committed in the city. I've noticed that he number of violent crimes perpetrated by those with an extensive criminal record is not only appalling, but also increasing in frequency (according to police statistics). Clearly, these repeat offenders are irredeemable, sociopaths who have little regard for the honest, hard-working, god-fearing people who live in the community. It is also blatantly obvious that incarceration is not a deterrent. I don't know if there is a solution to this problem, but its a shame we can't ship these cretins to Mogadishu, Somalia where they belong (they'd fit right in there).

Why does good behavior when you know you’re being watched make people think you’ll behave when you’re not being watched? We also FORCE inmates to associate only with criminals. Then tell them associating with criminals is bad when they get out. Prisons just warp people more. They need to be kept out of society to keep innocent people safe. But there should be a third environment people get paroled to where WORK and TRADE with others is the only way to eat. More like the real world than a prison but no innocent people either. Maybe like the prison farms they have in Scandinavia.
