Thank you for the video, pretty much exactly what I was looking for. The only suggestion I could make is, for me personally, I was hoping to hear more about the psychological profile of the character. You did cover it, but I wished you focused a bit more on that, looking at the actions and words of caheacters through that lens - how they reveal character - not merely as a response to outside challenges.

Lulu and Kimarhi was always the two underused characters in my playthroughs. Lulu would get side lined once I taught Yuna the Aga spells as she has higher magic and Lulu's side quest to get the celestrial weapon was too tedious. I only used Kimarhi enough to beat Biran and Yenke and get all his overdrives. Like Lulu, Kimahri's celestrial side quest was too tedious to even attempt.

Very true. With lulu I just didn’t really get why her magic ability on her sphere path wasn’t as strong as Yuna considering she was the black mage of the party. I just like kimahri because he was always pretty flexible in the beginning as to where he can go on the grid. But ya late game I don’t use them as much as I use the others. Especially in the bonus boss fights since offensive magic isn’t as needed as pure attacks

I hit on my perfect Classic Grid strategy on my second or third playthrough. I generally didn't bother with Celestial weapons. Start with teaching Kimahri and Yuna Use & Steal. Kimahri then uses that open path to follow Yuna, becoming party's 2nd white mage (useful in Sanubia!). Rikku's own development path is basically useless, cross her thru Kimahri's section (via already opened path) over to beginning of Lulu's path, make Rikku 2nd Black mage (Thunder Plains scene very ironic). Late game, after teaching both Yuna and Lulu Ultima and Doublecast, backtrack Rikku into end of her own chain for Copycat. Her role: copy-mage. Lulu and Yuna hammer Big Bads with Double Ultimas or Flares, Rikku copies it for 5/6ths damage yield and 28MP.

BS Lulu initially wasn't attracted to Wakka but to Chappu because she preferred the go getter type like Tidus because it was the opposite of her personality. She may have also been disgusted by Wakka's ignorant racism given that she had basically travelled the world. But over time, her personality changed and she slowly began to appreciate Wakka for what he offered. Especially after going on such a long and arduous journey. She changed and so did Wakka. They changed together.
