I think the main issue characters like Blue Marvel (and by proxy, Superman) suffer is that very few writers know how to actually write them and keep them compelling. Its sad, but true. Cause Blue Marvel is an amazing character. Its a shame he hasn't been used more effectively lately, but I have a feeling we will see him back soon.

I would love for them to do that. Maybe like you said, do a prequel series, even before Adam: Legend of Blue Marvel. Show what he went through that whole time. Dealing with hate on both sides of the fence. Its a good story with so much potential. I would like to see if they do anything with him. So what is he like as a character? He looks really cool and while it is a little off putting for him to have so much going on (Mega genius, ex-soldier, tones of applications for his super powers making him like a mix of superman, green lantern and doctor fate, crazy number of accomplishments) I don't necessarily see that as a bad thing. I love a good superman book and he has arguably even more going on. So what can be said about his personality? Some of the panels had him looking kinda somber, while others made him look very lively, so it is a bit hard to get a read on what he is like. Is he a super responsible dude, all about doing the right thing because he hates injustice? Is he a super passionate scientist that loves to explore the untouched possibilities about the world? Is he a super goofy and lovable jokester that loves making people smile? Is he some combo of the ones listed, maybe something I didn't list? I would really like to know more about him before looking into his books, otherwise I'm only picking up the book because he looks cool (Which isn't a bad thing, I love the color balance with his costume, but I would prefer to know if I was going to go into one of his books thinking he was cool for more than just his suit and his powers.)

Depends on who he's around. He's fairly straight forward and serious, but when he's around Monica Rambeau, he softens up. When he's around T'Challa he tightens up some, but still knows how to take a joke. When he's with Mister Fantastic, its always business. Just depends. Lots of variables. For the most part, he's as "responsible" as any other hero. Probably takes the job more seriously than some. He's kind of a mixed bag of things. I will definitely say he's more laid back in The Ultimates comics, though.

Thank you! Glad to hear you're checking it out. To be fair, it takes a long time to make a movie. Especially good one. You can't just rush projects out because one made you a shit ton of money. Thats how you get the DCEU lol. Marvel is making more movies with characters of color and different genders, but they only release 2... occasionally 3 a year. I'd rather them take their sweet ass time and get it right, like Black Panther. Than rush some ish to the theater 💯
