A KZbinr called ConnerTheWaffle already covered the topic a few years back. His theory was about how Master & Crazy Hand, Tabuu, and even Master Core were all the same kid growing up over time, with Tabuu being an adult version of the kid trying to put aside playing with their toys, and Master Core representing their negative feelings that could come with being an adult that still plays with toys and coming to terms with them. In my opinion, this theory holds up far better, since Tabuu could very well represent the kid trying to ditch their hobby due to how society would view them through their general taboos, which could lead into Master Core, being a representation of ridicule from society coming to a peak.

That's generally the agreed-upon idea, yes. However, you didn't mention Ultimate's inclusions, which I remember hearing as thus: Galeem is a big "Creative Corporation", with a bunch of peoples' creativity (Master Hands) controlled to make ITS world for ITS purpose of making money, regardless of whether it "makes sense" or some such. Control to that degree is disrespectful and harmful to those worlds, so the idea that it is all-powerful has to be stopped. This, however, gives an opening for just anyone to do whatever they want, usually by slamming several worlds together without thinking about it. The result is a broken mess, and thus we have an army of destructive people (Crazy Hands) as the vanguard of The Fandumb (Dharkon). Such anarchy has no place here, so it too must be stopped. But NOW we've got a power struggle. The Corporation wrestling with The Fandumb for control of these worlds, as NEITHER has complete "authority" anymore. The Corporation attacks with Cease and Desists that may be legally justified but not morally so, The Fandumb attacks by boycotting or by creating insulting mockeries, and much Internet vitriol is flung. It's a mess. But some creators care too much for their art to let it be tainted for profit's sake, some fans are part of the FanDOM but not the FanDUMB, and in some cases the same individual belongs to both camps. THESE groups (the recruitable Master and Crazy) feed each other, creators devising new concepts, fans carefully analyzing the individual aspects to gain greater appreciation of the whole, and putting them together in ways that DO make sense, even inspiring more new concepts from the creators. Working together like this, a new group forms. THIS group can be tricked into attacking either The Fandumb or The Corporation in an unbalanced way, but when that happens the OTHER part of that struggle wins, and the industry loses. If they persist though, if they knock down both for their abandonment of what makes these worlds special, both get shut down at once. And what follows is neither a monotone Light nor a formless Dark, but rather a intricately deep industry that just screams Color, weaving together into a chaotic spire of burning flame.

I know this video is old, but I just wanna get this out there. If Tabuu does represent a parent, Master and Crazy Hand a child and the Smash Fighters toys, I can't help but think that the child Master and Crazy Hand represent is abused in some way. And maybe Dark Core is a representation of the effects of said abuse? Just a theory! Edit: Here's a better theory. Still following the whole "child" theory, if Master and Crazy are being controlled, maybe the things controlling them represent different struggles in life of the child they represent as said child grows.

My theory is the hand represents the conduit bringing these characters to life.. they are essentially drawings or works of arts. The right hand is master hand: the one that does the drawing and is in control. Crazy hand is the left hand which acts kind of crazy if you tried to draw with it. Inside the hand is your imagination aka dark core who shift like black ink.

From the videos of Smash Theory I have watched from you, perhaps, Master Hands represent the kid's right hand as we usually are right hander, while since 2 years later Crazy Hand appears in Melee as the kids develops a little so he can use the left hand, but still struggle a little. 8 years later in Brawl the kid is not a kid anymore, so perhaps Tabuu is representing him trying to stop being immature, 5 year later in Smash 4 the kid doesn't want to give up on playing toys, so Master Core perhaps represent the heart of the kid. After another half decade later, Ultimate, perhaps all the Master and Crazy hands are other kids in a daycares or pre-school and Galeem represent the teacher's positve mood while Dharkon represent the negative mood, and the original kid perhaps want to freed the toy and give it to the future generation of the kid's children, so he as Crazy and Master Hand helps the fighters and put a stop to the chaos, and please the teacher to give him back the toys and give it to his own children.

What if the world outside of smash taking over by Giant flying gloves and They created that world which wasn't part of other worlds other worlds and then turns to its own world bigger than ours who as the game and on go and on. It was gone growing too much that a God name tabuu trying to turn in the characters in the game in to toys. Next, the roster for kept growing too much that even Master Hand turn more than just one giant glove, it later made a deal with another God to make multiple interations of itself to destroy what it has brought to his own world. Just to know it's pretty Frankenstein-ish I really want to know if you like this Theory

No no no! The master hand is the players hand because you are the one playing with the toys and statues. SPOILERS... and in the end (of ultimate) when you are playing as master hand, you are the hand and all of the dark fighters are evil. Also, on the character select screen, the hand holding the token saying P1 the P standing for PLAYER and the hand is holding it. This could also mean that the hand is controlling you, however, this Hand is being controlled by the player.
