Another major advantage is that if fitted to a rural community building it can be removed before an incoming typhoon and stored away safely and then refitted without professional help. The larger satellite is fixed and because it's much larger is more prone to damage by very high winds and flying debris, requiring a new dish or a person to recalibrate it, all at additional cost to the government/community.

Excellent channel! I ordered my Starlink because I made only bad experiences with the local ISPs, Ridiculous promises, non-existent service and total failure during brown-outs. Another big problem on our little island are the ISP's connections to their backbone on mainland. They do not come to our island with the needed bandwidth. Starlink is our solution. We often have digital nomads as guests, Starlink will soon be one good argument to stay with us. We expect the break-even in less than 6 months.

The only major flaw Starlink has that I can think of is its vulnerability to CMEs (Coronal Mass Ejections). Those can destroy satellites, and stronger ones can even ruin ground-based electronics like what happened to North America back in 1989. IIRC, more than 30 Starlink satellites were damaged or destroyed last year by a relatively-minor one.

Something that GA touches on, but needs to be emphasized, is the fact that Starlink allows you access beyond what local telcos offer, regardless of location. You'll probably have experienced asking "anong ISP ung malakas dito" before committing to an install - Starlink takes that out of the equation entirely.

As far as cost, here's a valuable comparison. I recently moved to the Philippines from central Florida. The best service I could pay for in my semi-urban rural area was 25Mbps at $50 USD per month, To obtain this "cheap" rate, (discounted for a senior citizen) I had to provide my own modem ... using the provider's modem would have cost me $15 additional per month. So for sure, speeds in the 200 Mbps range for 2700 Pesos per month will be a real bargain.

In PPC Palawan we have the choice of two fiber connections. Outages happen often. Also the contractor/installers when adding a new customer just disconnect one person to add another in the junction box. This is because they don’t know who is still subscribed or not at the box and they are not marked. So you get disconnected every so often and wait a day or two to turn it back on. So starlink is for some of us in cities and I am getting about 190Mbps and fiber 110 Mbps on a promised 600 connection.
