So…I watched this when it came out. It was much longer than this. However…it DIDN’T include the disability community. I’m going to tell you a secret. We exist and we are also oppressed.

doesnt mean it was forgotten, it just wasn't the story line. I'm sure you will survive. Unlike general society, they make fun of oppression, they dont dwell in it. If they put disability in there, there are people who would have called them out on it. The jokes wouldn't be good enough for people. People wouldn't have wanted jokes at all. Its a comedy. Laugh a little, thats the point. My religious community gets mocked on tv shows instead and in real life. We dont get represented. We dont go around crying about it. We have blacks, disabled and even some gays.

I’m sure part of the joke is that everyone there has ONE basis of oppression while all their other traits are privileged / on equal footing to others. Imagine my shock when I realised all my friends have AT LEAST two or three bases for marginalisation. This contest gets tough with them. I may not be oppressed in my region but at least I can wear my theoretical oppression like a badge!
