I think it's worth mentioning Lady Campanula Tottington appeared in the 2019 DFS advert. So this isn't the first time a Curse of the Were Rabbit character has appeared again.

Whilst I enjoyed that appearance, there are a few instances of characters returning in advertising etc. Here I'm specifically referring to an original character from one of the five W&G films returning in another.

I just think MC Mackintosh is an awesome side character, who I wouldn’t mind seeing more often in the series. He could’ve appeared in A Close Shave when Gromit was broken out of prison (although we only see a police car really far in the background of one shot). I’m interested to see what he’ll do in Vengeance Most Fowl, and whether they’ll explain his promotion or not.

PC Mackintosh was always a favourite character of mine back when I first watched the movie, and I still love him to this day, and I’m so happy to see that he’ll be returning! I saw Peter Kay live at the O2 recently and he has such a warm energy that makes him (in my opinion) perfect for an Aardman production! As always, your videos always bring a smile to my face, please keep up the great work :)

Peter Kay is also a voice actor for a Television show called "Roary The Racing Car" and he does the voices of Big Chris and Tin Top! Which is why Peter Kay has become one of my favorite voice actors!

Glad you enjoy the videos! For me, a video like this can take anywhere from a couple days to a week to script, film and edit. I am to get them out weekly, but when longer videos are involved it becomes a challenge.

PC Mackintosh showed up at least once in the comics of the W&G Magazine, but so did characters such as Shaun & Feathers McGraw, so the canonicity of these comics is debatable.
