Some Proof that Barry Allen could be Savitar!: 1.Firstly, in one of the episodes, SAVITAR says, “I am THE FUTURE, FLASH”. Maybe it was mis-pronounced on purpose. He doesn’t like his past self at all, because PRESENT BARRY HAS EVERYTHING and he has NOTHING. He feels PRESENT BARRY doesn’t deserve it. Moreover, Speedsters, cannot die by killing past versions of themselves, emember ZOOM’S TIME REMNANT, works on the same principle. Also, speedsters are part of the speed force, they cannot be erased from the timeline, REMEMBER Reverse Flash still being alive despite him dying in SEASON 1.4. If Barry is Savitar, why did they mention him as being “THE FIRST SPEEDSTER EVER”? A speedster has an ally. Time. He can travel back in time any time he wants. A speedster stays in the present….like Barry because the people he loves are in the current timeline like IRIS, JOE, Wally, etc. But what about the others like REVERSE FLASH? They do not have any attachment to any timeline. They keep travelling to new timelines, exploring.If you’ve read any Batman comic , you might’ve noticed, BATMAN isn’t famous because of his skills mainly. It’s his theatricality. He induces fear into the heart of criminals. He is more of a myth than a hero. In order for Savitar to actually threaten Barry, he must build the story of his myth. otherwise Savitar will just end up being yet another villain like Mirror Master easily defeated by Barry. I've been _really_ looking forward this coming Tuesday's Flash episode. Thanks, Pagey, for being here with all sorts of exciting information related to the rest of this season, and for coming up with and/or addressing various theories about Savitar's identity, who's dead as per the funeral scene, etc. It would be crazy if we didn't find out Savitar's identity in The Once and Future Flash, but at least there aren't any more long waits until the end of the season. So, this is probably one of the last chances for everyone to get their theories and speculations in. As for mine, I'm in the "Savitar is Barry from the future" camp. (Like, Barry from 2037ish, not 2024.) I read the recent Flash storyline where Barry from 20 years in the future travels back in time, fixing mistakes that were caused by his "losing time" every time he used his powers, with the ultimate goal of killing his present day self. The concept of the story in general is quite compelling, and some parallels are there as well-- future Flash wearing a blueish/electric suit, Wally dead and Iris in a wheelchair... and probably others. And, of course, much like how seasons 1 and 2 of the show reappropriated the comics' Eobard Thawne/Zoom as two separate characters, here they're using the name of a Flash villain, Savitar, for a character who's obviously not supposed to be a comics-accurate portrayal Savitar. I think it all adds up. And I think that this is really the only way holding off this long for the reveal makes sense. Of course, there's the question, "Why would future Barry want to come back in time and kill Iris?" Well, there's a videogame for PlayStation 3 called Infamous, which addresses this exact concept. I think the idea is that the present day version of the character is not strong enough to deal with events that threaten to destroy the world in the future, and the future version is coming from some sort of apocalyptic reality, and attempting to "toughen up" the resolve (or the rage?) of the present day version, to avoid that future. (Relating all that back to The Flash: Didn't Savitar, in one of Julian's channeling sessions, tell Iris that he's sorry that she has to die?) If they do manage to save Iris, then that could set up the threat for next season-- some great, world-destroying evil that Barry is fundamentally unprepared to deal with. Then again, we're going to see 2024, and the world is still there, so... maybe not? Or maybe I'm waaaay off. But that would also be fun!

Not necessarily, the biggest team ups we've seen so far were 3 of them during a Christmas episode and then even that turned into 2 when Snart walked out on them. Imagine having about 5 or 6, could prove for an interesting season. They could also introduce rogues from other earths plus gives Golden Glider an opportunity to come back. In fact, that would cause some interesting tension between Cisco and Gypsy if Glider came back as she was a romantic interest in the past.

Simply DC this is a superhero TV series not some romance type of shit. yes we saw the trickster and Mark Marion team up but that episode was a joke... towards the end of season 2 we saw zooms army fighting against ccpd where one second they were attacking and the next second the flash took them out. even Barry said it in episode 2X22 "we usually takes these guys out 1 at a time not 100 at a time" this just proves that the rogues are no match for Barry.

I think that I figured out what is that message from future Flash (In Invasion episode) about.. It could be the evil Barry Allen, the blue flash, there is one really good comic where The Future Flash takes present Flashs place to make things good, and sends him to some prison universe... Or we will see Godspeed.. I'm sure we will see both of them in coming seasons, but they are both a villains who start by being good guys..

i think it will happen soon the future flash, but not till the final season. I dont think he will be in the main villian of the season. I think eobard will be. Future flash will trap barry in the past and future flash will take current flash place. However, when proper barry comes back, eobard will kill future flash and this will be the lead up to the final episode and says I always win or soemthing a long those lines

well honestly speaking.. im relly confused as to who savitar really is.. i always had only 2 theories.. 1: future barry or a version of barry from the future is savitar... 2: eddie thawne is saviar.. now why eddie? because he was sucked up in the singularity which lead to multiverse.. then he was also shown wearing a talisman (necklace) which malcom thawne used to wear.. so that talisman might be turned into the philosopher stone and it revived eddie.. giving him ability of speed force.. and as for the uture episodes.. im really expecting some clarifications to our questions about the philosopher stone... and a good closing to the finale.. be it sad ending but still a good one and shocking.. i hope bart allen is introduced in season 4

Earlier in the season, I was fascinated with Savitar's armor and I became convinced that it was a pure manifestation of the Speed Force. There are only a few speedsters who have shown the aptitude for such a feat in the comics. So that narrowed down the list of speedsters that could be Savitar. Wally West is one of them, and he has manifested similar suits in the New 52 relaunch, but as we saw tonight, Wally was Savitar’s puppet, and it doesn't seem likely he could be Savitar. The other person with this skill is a character that goes by the name The Future Flash, who's name was muttered by Savitar several times in Season 3 Episode 15. The Future Flash is one of those characters in comics that people tend to forget. In a nutshell, he is Barry Allen 20 years in the future who has snapped due to emotional trauma (the death of Wally West). Future Flash then goes back in time, killing all his enemies in an attempt to fix the timeline. A key part of Future Flash’s story is the fact he was created by the repercussions of Flashpoint, and he did not exist before Barry changed the timeline - which coincides with the current timeframe The Flash. Savitar being Future Flash makes perfect sense given everything we learned in this episode. Besides Savitar saying "I'm The Future Flash", when you add up all the knowledge he has concerning Team Flash with his blue solid Speed Force armor, it seems like all the information is pointing to Savitar being The Future Flash. If this is true, Barry has already started down the path to becoming Future Flash, but he is not there yet. To be clear, Barry Allen and The Future Flash are not the same person (exactly). Who Barry is, and who he might become, are 2 completely different entities who can be altered at any time. It is worth noting that In the comics, Future Flash travels back in time and defeats his younger self and takes his place to correct the mistakes of his past - a lot like Looper, but in reverse
