@@surgrip59 Yes, I get your point but as someone who has actually been watching all of these players' club teams and following the big international games, there is a huge disparity in the media (because they are entirely biased towards the US and NWSL) as to who the best players in the world are. The Guardian Top 100 players is proof of that - even if they get a lot of the players right, the order of their ranking is just laughable. But overall, you're correcting in saying it is hard to distinguish top players right now, especially without using some stats. My point was simply that stats aren't everything.

Christen Press is the best, second is Sam Kerr!!! CP's goals are artistic AF! Such a versatile soccer player. Press can score whether long or short shoots range, use both legs (left and right). I've come to think of Ada Hegerberg as the supreme striker because of her UWCL exploits, so I expected she'd rank higher. I don't watch much of US league so I can't say much about Press. I'm glad Viv is no. 1 because I really think she has the potential to rule women's football. Unless this list is Judy based on recent performance, I think the ranking is a bit skewed. I wouldn't rank the two Beths so high. And I also have a soft spot for Lieke. Overall, great players on this list, and though I might have placed Hegerberg no. 1, I still see Viv as the 🐐!

Some lovely goals, the issue I see is some of these look better due to bad defenders and in a lot of them absolutely terrible keepers, we need better keepers in the womens game.

We need smaller goal posts, I mean these ones were made to make it difficult for men to keep balls out at full capacity so of course the women keepers look worse than they actually are

@@alexlogan7559 Checking the average height of men and women, men 1.7 meters, women 1.6 meters, I don't think the goal posts are the issue, look back a few decades at the mens game, the keepers weren't great back then either.

@@spig3547 that is a 10cm difference and not something to be overlooked, taking into account that men have a faster reaction time than women, in a situation where you need to make a split second decision that 10cm counts for a lot

@@alexlogan7559 It isn't enough to warrant much smaller goals if at all, I'm 1.75m and I don't have issues, most of the keepers are taller than me in the womens game, it's the quality of the keepers, go back a fair few decades in the mens game and the keepers were also a bit bad, takes time.

I think the number 10 was more exciting to watch. They all shoot well but the Martens sure can hold unto the ball, dribble, change direction, accelerate better with the ball and fashion a one two. Netherland with barcelona.....no suprise there. Harder pernille shoots well too. Madiema has power
