Nah. Cassano had comparable talent to Baggio, but his personality, choices and lifestyle prevented him from ever reaching his full potential. If Cassano has comparable amount of talent to Baggio then there is still another tier above them two which is where players like Pirlo and Maldini are. The best has got to be Roberto Baggio. I get it that Maldini is Mr Consistent and rock solid at the back even as a left back. However Baggio was a talent bar none. He is the ultimate Italian Number 10. Playmaker, Striker and prolific goal scorer. In World Cup 94, he carried Italy on his shoulders to the final, in a team that relied heavily on him to score.
