Who Is The Better Call of Duty Modern Warfare Character?

I know this is about Price and Ghost, but I want to mention OG Ghost and Reboot Ghost. Hot take: I prefer Reboot Ghost to OG Ghost, I honestly thought the OG Ghost was overrated and he just felt like another guy with the squad who just happened to have a cool mask and voice and he didn't feel as integral to the story as Price, Soap, Yuri, and Sandman. Not to mention Shepherd's betrayal never made me emotional the way Soap's death did. Reboot Ghost feels more like a human character with more of a personality. Not to mention his dynamic and interactions with Soap are a delight to watch

Personally I prefer Ghost. His relationship with Soap was the highlight of MWII for me.

Mw2019 Price was definitely my favourite in the reboot. Morally grey stand up guy who doesn’t always follow the rules but nonetheless cares about his comrades. He was also more badass then. I like Ghost and Soap in the reboot as well. But in my honest opinion, their friendship didn’t quite make sense. They slowly started forming a bond but realistically they should’ve already had this bond considering they’ve been assigned under a task force together for 3 yrs. I’ve said it before but 141 is too small and there should’ve been at least 8 guys on the team. If they add Roach in mw4, it would be too little too late and a slap in the face to all the real mw fans who were hoping for a good story.

Capt Price is a better character IMO. He knows the mission just as well as Ghost, and is willing to fulfill it just the same. I think that Ghost wasn’t much of a mentor at all like OG and reboot Price. It really seemed like Ghost needed Soap more than Soap needed Ghost. Price & Gaz go well together much like OG Price did with OG Soap & Capt Soap with OG Ghost. Soap was curious about Ghost & sadly as we all know curiosity killed the cat!

@ Them putting in Roach after Soap would just be a slap to the face IMO. OG TF141 had so many members but reboot tf141 is just a couple of them all from the SAS. I don’t buy that these guys are feared legends!

Ghost has a long wolf mystery feel to him. But Price is an icon of military righteousness. In a sense of doing what’s necessary, even if it means getting dirty. The line; going dark

I know this unrelated to the video but gaz in mw2 feels underdeveloped he feels like a background character and dosent have that emotion or lines like it was in mw2019 campaign he feels like cpt price lapdog

I have a problem with the reboot series. The character 'Soap' never meet or talk to Former delta force character 'Alex'. Soap, even don't seems to be have a direct chat with Gaz.😑

Because of the first reboot MW having a better narrative, Price and Gaz are better characters. I felt Ghost and Soap were underwritten. They felt more like stock comic book characters than competently written. Also, Ghost felt more like an edgelord than an actual character and him learning about teamwork was nonexistent.

For now, Captain Price is the best character of the Modern Warfare reboot. There is an interesting character arc about his commitment of justice and his moral compass which navigates in the grey area of warfare. SPOILER ALERT ! When Price murders General Shepherd following the death of Soap in the Channel Tunnel, he kinda crosses a line and I hope we'll see a big fallout of this event in Modern Warfare IV. BTW, I hope MWIV will see the light of day because the management of the Call of Duty franchise has been disastrous, especially since the messed up MWIII where Infinity Ward has been a collateral damage as well as Sledgehammer Games. Plus, the Omni-movement of Black Ops 6 has generated some very serious creative issues for IW 😬
