I saw an interview where James o'barr tells the story about Beverly, the girl who inspired the crow comic book, died. It is even more heartbreaking hearing how much he loved her and how deeply it affected him.

Yep, read that in the introduction of the special edition. Gives even more depth to the story. As I recall, he called her to pick him up and she died in a car accident and blamed himself for her death because if he never called she wouldn't have had an accident. Then, when Brandon died shooting the movie, he also felt guilty because he thought that if he'd never made the comic, Brandon wouldn't have died in the set. I don't even want to imagine his emotional trauma.

I've read the comics when they came out, the collected version, and I dressed as Eric Draven's version of The Crow when I went to the premiere of the movie in 1994, but I always love videos about the character.

So cool, I really want to dress up as Eric Draven, too! Maybe at some ComicCon

Someday, Hollywood will get some original ideas for movies, until then, we suffer.....

For sure, but you're talking about the remake, right? Cause the 1994 movie was original

@spider-than_comics Yes, you bet. The story is so good, though!!!
