Who Is The Friendliest? - Do You Have A Favorite? They Are All SO CUTE!

We spend a little time with each foal, accessing their attitudes. Honestly all three foals are the sweetest and we really are just playing lol. BUT all three definitely have different personalitys for sure. Its a lot if fun to get to know thr foals. Prince is the oldest, then Chantilly and last Baby Roo. All three foals are Missouri Foxtrotters, which is a smooth riding, amazing family and trail and just all around versatile horse breed. We absolutely love the MFTS! All three of the foals are sired by our stallion, Bob and all three are palominos.

I sort of agree but, I do puppy apitude testing and if the testing were exactly uniform and all the foals were the SAME age I would give the nod to Roo. But they are widely spaced in age and Roo may not have had as much handling. We know her mother is less people friendly. But I do think both girls are clearly better natural followers ( equals) a good obedience dog when seen in a 7 week old puppy, after brief handling. Nibbling is ok (shows a little dominance in puppies).

I do think Bob & Foxy Roxy are most likely to have a palomino. I wonder if there are any studies to show why a palomino stud, when bred to many of the same mares as before, would throw more paliminos this time? Could temperates, rainfall, or feed affect how those color genes line up, at all?

My favorite part of this video is that you allow the mothers to stay close by. You don’t separate the foals from their moms. instead, you include them in the process. This speaks volumes about you ❤️ as horse trainers, care takers and human beings. It shows that you respect nature and have good hearts, even if you might not realize it. You guys are awesome! They are all adorable. My favorite one is Prince. He won my heart when as such a little squirt he ran up to JR and kicked him for entering the pen him and mama were in. I could not believe he did that him being just a little thing. I got a huge laugh out of that. I remember JR said he was ornery and would have to get out of that. Chantilly is the friendliest. Think all three are good looking foals. Amazing how well Prince has done after a tough beginning and baby Roo has a lightening bolt on her forehead. I love the name (well, nickname) of "Baby Roo" because it's from the Winnie-the-Pooh stories---and she does hop about like a little kangaroo filly. Chantilly's looks are going to be the Knock-your-eyes-out sort, because that blaze of hers is so stunning! Prince's mane has turned white-blonde, just like his Daddy! All 3 are precious, can't pick a favorite.

What sweet babies! Seems like Prince is “all boy” so not so much inclined to cuddles.
