I really like that Sapnap gets recognition for his pvp in MCC, a lot of times it feels like he gets hidden in Dreams manhunt shadow, which no doubt dream is good, but Sapnap is pretty amazing too

I think Pete's consistently mature and positive attitude, even during MCCs where he hasn't felt well or where he's felt he underperformed, makes him a clear pick for, at least, the figurehead of MCC. There have been and will be players who can beat him at stuff, but he's just consistently good and consistently a good representation of both a very competitive player and a very gracious winner or loser.

I believe Illlumina 15 and Dream 10 would hold the record if they were converted to the new scoring).

Illumina should def be mentioned in SG- he’s placed 1st individually 3/4 times he’s played (2/3 canon). Illumina & Quig atleast deserve honorable mentions in Battle Box, and Quig deserves a mention in Ace Race as well. Scott is probably the 2nd/3rd best buildmart leader, and SB737 is the best floater for sure.

The thing here is, if we are only doing a season 1 assessment Techno should definitely in. However, the games have evolved already. For example Techno has never experienced the current sands of time, which is arguably more fast paced compared to its season 1 counterpart. While most of the games are similar on mechanics on its own, the strategies are what's changed. If techno plays at least 2 events, including non-canon events then we can include him in these videos.

I would say the only game where he should possibly get a mention is SB and maybe TGTTOS and even that is doubtful as the strategy has changed a lot since mcc 11: -PT and GR are new games. -Techno was never the best at SG, BB, HITW, SoT or BM. -While Techno was in mcc both Quig and Pete were better in AR.

I think you got to look at the teams as well. Dream and sapnap for example have had some godly teams while fruit berries, hbomb, and illumina have had some not so great teams and still made it to dodge bolt and even won.

Sapnap is definetly a pvp master (which includes the other players) and dream is definitely a movement player god (which also includes the other players). If you take out records, points and such you cannot deny their individual skill

Illumina's teams have actually been stronger than average, they just weren't planned to be that way originally. Fundy and Cub both scored more points than Ryguyrocky and Rendog would have been likely to in MCC18 and MCC20.

Since Pete has been such a dominant player hed be the one to represent what mcc is about but id argue that Hbomb is also an figurehead of the tournument because of his leadership skills, coms and attitude. I think the best vibes in a team were when they teamed together. Seepeakay is also a example since hes competetive, good attitude and good sportsmanship though he isnt often seen as the leader because hes steps back alot for other members to lead. Same with Quig when he needs to, hell always be such a extremly nice leader but hes also good at explaining the games to newcomers or "weaker player". Those are some of the players that you would always want to have for a good time. They really are the ones who embodies what this tournument is for us and the players.

I think Pete and Sapnap are pretty much even now for best mcc players. The fact that Sapnap now has won 5 mccs, and last mcc, Sapnap claimed his 4th win IN A ROW. 2 events he had Dream, and every MCC with 2 S tiers is just auto win, but the other 2, Sapnap was with D tiers, and still won. (Btw, when 2 S tier are on the same, team, it's over. Example: Dream/Techno Duo, Dream team + Karl [had Dream and Sapnap], Dream Team + BBH [All Stars, which was broken :Dream + Sapnap*]), Dream + Sapnap Duo (with Quackity and Michael), and that's pretty much it.

Exactly. A lot of people have called him a weak link, even the admins. However, he's an extremely reliable player and his leadership skills often lead to the success of his team. For example, he's not the best explorer in sands of time, meaning that he doesn't get that many individual coins, but as a sand master he mostly ensures that his team doesn't get locked in and always has a good overview on how risky his team members can play and leads accordingly.

Banger video! I totally agree with so much said and didn't realise how influential Dream's been for strategy in MCC. I'd probably consider Illumina as one of the best movement players as he's the best at Ace Race, in contention for best at TGTTOS, is top 3 in HitW if excluding his first performance in MCC13, currently the top in the new Rocket Spleef Rush (even though yes he wasn't as good in Season 1 but surely a top 5 contender) and Parkour Tag performances show him to be top 5 there also. Also shoutout SB for being first in every BSABM in Season 2 :)

I think your forgetting about Scott and Shubble and Geminitay They are some of the strongest team game players in the entire event. Shubble is one of the best sand keepers in the event and can hold her own exploring aswell and has great comms for games like build mart and grid runners. Scott is excellent at leading his team to do well in bm and is solid at sot and gr. Gem is one of the best gr players with her godly comms and is a strong runner in sot. With her building knowledge she is great at build mart to. That's just my opinion anyway.

Gems great at grid runners but shes deffo not a great SOT player, she never does any parkour she comes across and unintenally marks unfinished hallways blocking her teammates. Though shes a great builder, shes panics too much at build mart and grian has only lost build mart when he was with gem.

@@neroxyx3085 your wrong here. I've watched all of her perspectives live and never did she once go down a hallway that was completed. Gem also helped to get the second highest season two coin record in sot, collecting 1500 coins to help her team. Just because someone isn't good at Parkour doesn't automaticly mean she is a bad sot player. I'd suggest you go actually watch her pov before you make a guess. And not to mention the two other times grian and Gem teamed together they won buildmart! In pride 2022 they won by over 1300 coins.

Buildmart is a great game (even though I know some people dislike it) because it takes a different skill set. All the names given for great BM players literally had not been mentioned before then, which really shows that - to a degree - BM levels the playing field in MCC

Personal opinion, Illumina (although relatively new) is the best movement game player, but fruit is the undisputed tgttos champion. I also believe hbomb is the best sands of time player, because he’s the best team player of them all which is really important in a team game. I agree with pretty much everything else.

It was a good performance, but both mcc 19 and mcc 9 SG were almost certainly stronger (mcc 15 Red got 10 kills, while Blue 9 got 14 and Cerulean 19 got 16, with Cerulean also looting 3 airdrops)

2 players that I think deserve a shout that were not mentioned: Quig for his shear consistency in Ace Race- while never having got first, he has never placed lower than 4th, making him the only player to never place out of the top 5 in ace race Sb737 for build mart, as he has place first in every cannon build mart n season 2, including 2 of the highest scoring build mart teams of all time

Tommy has had 3 9/9s in battlebox including 1 ace in mcc19 so imo he’s one of the better players in the game Just that he often has low average teams or ones that dont really have a good chance at winning Even the color crew being the best in sg and parkour tag when together

In my opinion, Fruit is the best at Sky battle and Survival games. It's not even close. I think the best player is either Pete or Fruit, but Sapnap and Dream come close. If you count Technoblade, he doesn't come first in many games except sky battle, but he still comes out on top. Hopefully he will return to MCC!

Connor ?? 😂😂 now thats an amazing mcc legend. But I am glad sapnap is mentioned with his amazing pvp skills. He isn't very mentioned as one of top Pvpers and people don't see him much as a threat compared to dream but in my opinion he is just as amazing or better.
