It really depends on which version of venom we're talking about as lets say classic venom spiderman nemesis he's much of a lower tier venom to fight because his abilities are only at par of spiderman. If we're doing something like the much more current venom when Eddie is good lets break it down to two time stops one being normal venom who can fight is almost at par with carnage which us still not so good then symbiote god venom who was able to kill knull and fly him to the sun in mere seconds i would say that's the strongest version of venom or even symbiote

Venom and Carnage are 100 percent still connected. Carnage secretly helps Venom to win, if you listen exactly. He helps Venom to kill Cletus and especially his wife Shriek, as she tried to kill Tom Hardy. Carnage also gave Venom a hint, that Cletus is really trying to kill Tom, as he said "one of us has to die, dad". Venom was also talking about swarm intelligence and that Tom Hardys little brain is not able to understand this... After venom eats and absorbs carnage I’d say he is stronger, in the comics current venom (before king in black since he probably got a HUGE power boost) he was 75+ tons when not angry and 100+ when angry (equally as powerful as the original anti venom), carnage was 80+ when calm, and toxin was 90+ Venom has a perfect host for himself, and Eddie is physically powerful for a human to begin with, and thus can draw out more in venom too, giving them both an amp, while drake was not super impressive looking and neither was Cassidy, though their Symbiotes were superior inherently.

I personally don't like the venom movies so far. I think a whole lot more could be done with the character. For example, they could have gone with the idea that the reason Venom is an outcast and reject is because he can grow stronger from feeding on other symbiotes. He has a trump card in that way, additionally it will make more sense if Mr. Negative ever comes into the picture, venom's abilities will make more sense if he becomes anti-venom. There's even somewhat of a precedence for this, in the ultimate spider man universe, Venom can feed to get stronger and stay alive. It feels lazy, and leaves a lot to be desired.

In absolute carnage, grendel merged with carnage and then he absorbed a lot of symbiotes so including knul and all black carnage is the strongest symbiote
