My favorite performance ever, gives me chills every time I hear it. He's an amazing artist, I mean clearly his voice is insane but his guitar playing is incredible n he doesn't really get the plaudits he deserves. You could take the lyrics as you've interpreted them and it's nice, but I think it makes it take on an entirely different feel when you realize that the whole thing is actually aimed at himself. He did something behind a close friends back that he obviously chose to keep to himself and it ate him up inside and fucked a lot of things up around him. You can see how much pain he's in during the last part of it, you feel it. So powerful

The only recent Australian stuff that equals this is *Lose Yourself (live) by Kasey Chambers* and **Initiation by Tommy Emmanuel**. His best version of Initiatiin is the one performed in dark blue light to simulate the night time the Initiation takes place in. But you won’t believe he’s making all those soundspercussively on various wooden and metal parts of the guitar, unless you watch him do **Classical Gas** in a well lit studio, and see how he gets those sounds without electronics. Oh and for a jaw dropping piano solo, **Dark Side (Awesome Version) by Tim Minchin**.
