I just noticed that they took Raphael and made him slash, because I remember Raphael being the shortest besides Mikey and not the strongest but quickest to anger and toughest. Now he's just ridiculously overpowered.

Slash 1st appeared in the 87's series in the ep named 'Slash - The Evil Turtle from Dimension X'. What came out on September 29, 1990. He was a pet of Bebop, but that Rocksteady wanted a mutate, because he didn't want 2 do the chores that Shredder wanted him 2 do. His 1st comic appeared was in TMNT: Adventures issue 23. But he is a Alien there, lived on a planet with lots of palm trees, when some other aliens came whom destroyed the planet, he unalived them, he was then thrown on prison planet named Morbus. He escaped with help of krang who was banished there as well, whom wanted 2 escape and take control of the (then) reformed Shredder's body. It was either the 1st appearence of him wearing the black bandana, what he didn't have in the cartoon. Neither version was this tall yet. That was 1st shown in the IDW comics, in April issue 7. What came out on August 29, 2012. The 1st appeared this tall in cartoon was the 2012 series, in ep named 'Slash and Destroy', what came out on November 30, 2013. But that version he was Spike 1st and that earlier version appeared in 'Rise of the Turtles, Part 2', what came out on September 29, 2012.

In a TMNT ttRPG game I ran the nuclear blast was infused with Slashe's mutagenic essence and created all new mutants in that area of the ocean where he exploded. Lots of my players were making ocean-based mutants, so it worked quite well.
