Nowhere in the original scripture does it say that Jesus died on a cross - the actual prophecy of his sacrifice was that to be hung on a tree and was symbolically identified through Moses by sin as the snake erected or hanging from a pole. The cross is more akin to a pagan symbol and it's also worth noting that not all translations substitute YHWH as God's name to Lord - even older KJVs apparently had the name Jehovah written in previous versions, so makes you wonder....

@@jimtryner9474 at the time my eldest sister (12 years old then) was having visits from spirits during the night for sometime, so I thought it to be a ghostly spirit. My father was heavily involved with culture spiritualism and would sometimes chant spirits in while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. My family now serves the one and true creator who has broken all cultural bondage and ties we had with false idols. To think the Lord had covered us way back then before our faith walk with him is totally humbling. What a mighty God we serve!

@@jimtryner9474 in my culture (Maori) indigenous people to New Zealand they believe in false gods, Maori would pray to false idols for guidance. I believe the spirits were none other than demons in disguise and they knew the Lord had bigger plans for us as to why they would visit or hung about trying to lead us astray. I am truly grateful and thankful the Lord has lifted all these traditional burdens from us a long time ago. Jesus is the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father God except through our Lord and Saviour JESUS.
