Who Killed Kieran in Scream TV Series Season 2 Finale?

I've seen that Scream is leaving Netflix this month and it's allegedly confirmed that Paramount bought the rights for the series. I know they might have other reasons for this but I really hope that they consider continuing the lakewood story at least for one final season. It's really a huge letdown that the story wasn't finished.

I always assumed Brandon James Survived. I don't think he killed anyone back then, but made an acception to kill actual killers who would hurt the family of the woman he loved. This scene goes down in horror history for me.

My theory is Brandon James was innocent and it was his elder brother (Troy?) who is briefly mentioned who was the original killer and the one who kills Kieran. Brandon being a red herring who was shot by the police before he could say anything. This could also leave a nice opening for Brandon to become “the hero” and save the day.

I think maybe it was Emma's dad. Many speculate he was the original 94' killer and thats why he asked Kieran why he was wearing his mask. I also do not think Kieran ever worked with this 3rd killer before or even knew him. When the killer freed him and Kieran said, "okay you kept your word, now are you going to tell me who you are?", that was the first time they ever met. Maybe that phone call was the 3rd killer telling Kieran his plan of setting him free but in reality it was Emma's dad wanting revenge on Kieran for putting his daughter through so much trauma.

I think it could have been either Gustavo or Gustavo’s dad that killed Kieran as they had access to jail cells and a mask. Maybe Gustavo’s dad was involved in the original Lakewood slasher killings and or maybe he’s actually Troy James? I still believe Gustavo was kieran’s accomplice or at least killed the teacher guy and had Kieran take care of him because he knew it was Kieran somehow. Based on his drawing of the teacher being handcuffed and killed despite nobody really even discovering his body at the time. Maybe that’s what Kieran meant when he said “I kept your word, now are you gonna tell me who you are?”

I’m honestly confused about the part where Maggie went to the tree where Brandon and her used to exchange letters and there was a “stay away from her” pinned with a knife to the tree. I think Kevin Duval is the most likely suspect. Either one, he wanted revenge on Kieran for what he did to Emma and Maggie or, he was the original killer in 1994 and framed Brandon James for the murders as revenge for him sleeping with Maggie. And I think he may have also anonymously helped Kieran in Season 2. My reasoning for this is that after Kieran was caught Kevin killed him in order to secure his identity as the 3rd killer in season 2 and the original 1994 killer.

Gustavo killed Kieran in the courthouse and was the 2nd killer in season 2, re watch season 2 and there is so much evidence & just see what Gustavo gains from helping Kieran by the end of the Halloween specials

Definitely not as good as the 1st 2 seasons, but it's not Seed of Chucky bad lmfao. Plus Tony Todd and Tyler Posey does make appearances :D. I'd say it's just an okay season, but the reveal(s) is interesting and does give you a huge twist at the end. A twist you never see coming unless you get spoiled more lmfao. Who knows? There could be more than one Ghostface in it too :D.

I think most guesses I've seen are too obvious. I think Emma's mom was the killer all those years ago and she manipulated Brandon and Kevin against each other. So she gets away with it and goes back to her normal life. Brandon is presumed dead and she did that too by agreeing to lure him out of hiding. So when these new killings start and they're targeting her she starts Telling the truth, but just as little As she can get away with. As she can get away with. By the end of the second season keiran is in prison and Maggie's bloodlust is back. She kills Keiran And once again she Thinks her secret is still safe. Once she puts on The killers robes, she can't stop Thinking about it and she starts Killing. Even worse she's lost all The love she felt for Emma. So her Goal Is to kill anyone Still left alive. That way no one will figure out it's her
