Who knew that creating a mandala artwork could do this!

When I first started doing my own Chakradance practice over 25 years ago, every time I finished my dance, I could still feel the energy I had danced up. I was always left feeling that I needed to do something with this energy; that it had something to teach me.
When we dance our chakras, we dance up our feelings, emotions, memories, physical sensations, spiritual guidance and more! The energy after the dance is palpable.
One day I felt called to create a spontaneous mandala artwork after I danced. Not being an artist in any shape or form, this felt like an unnatural calling on the one hand, but on the other hand it felt exactly what was needed.
I couldn’t believe what happened! Not only did it help to give form and expression to my inner world, but the messages from the art brought awareness to what had previously been unconscious. I share a little more about this here in this short video.
Since then, creating a mandala after we dance has become a key part of every Chakradance session. Not just for me, but also for the thousands of beautiful souls practicing this healing medicine around the world.
