Extraordinary praise by Carlsen for Nakamura, and by Nakamura for Naroditsky. Carlsen (3:26:53): "Oh, okay, so he's just that much better than I am? ...Yeah, fair enough...." (3:27:50:) "But that he was like this much better, I didn't realize. Yeah, it's insanely impressive." Nakamura (3:15:22): "If Danya could actually stop being so afraid of Magnus and myself...I think he also can play completely on par with Magnus and myself... if [Danya and Alireza] can sort some of those mental kinks out, they very easily could win against both of us."

It's actually them realizing that each of those 4 had them moments of pure confidence and being in the flow, in which each of them basically stronger than everybody else. Yet these spikes of super strength like Lewandowski 5 goals in 9 minutes (ok, maybe not that extrordinarly super) come and go for everyone, that's why the winner is decided through so many hours of play, to test and stretch and create variety of circumstances

Just to put into perspective, imagine the burden having to play Daniel, resting 5 minutes than playing alireza and then 5 minutes later playing hikaru for the tournament back to back to back lmao. What Magnus pulled off today even as a runner up its incredible and btw lost 17-15 so was not even a complete beatdown, but man he must have been exhausted. I dont think no one else could have pulled that off (coming from losing bracket and doing that). Obivously props to Hikaru as well for literally not losing a single time and he fully deserves the bullet chess goat title I think that is a consensus nowadays.

Impressive by Carlsen. Beating Naroditsky, beating Alireza and then going 17-15 vs rested Nakamura. Impressive. There were tons of matches where he was winning but choked, the scoreboard could look much worse for Magnus. Also, it was 8-3 at some point, then Hikaru had a mental collapse as he usually does against Magnus, but still won. Magnus himself just said that hilaru was ,,much faster and saw tactics he didn't". Don't act like he won by flagging or dirty little tricks. He IS the better bullett player. About blitz, very 50-5p, probably Magnus a bit better, both mostly because Hikaru still tends to collapse against Magnus evem when he has advantage and actually plays better - although not as much as a few years ago

@@RMF49 Disrupting the play is a classic dirt tactic by a dirty, scummy player. Look at the panic and pressure on his face at this point on his channel. It was a deliberate tactic because he knew he was throwing hard. I expect nothing else from him.

@@CosyBrew He didn’t “disrupt” anything. It was between games and he didn’t know if it was even over yet. He asked the officials what OT game number it was. Danny and Hess knew what he was asking and they didn’t consider it disrupting the game. Hikaru was on the verge of winning. He didn’t need to regain anything. You’re just a Magnite whiner who doesn’t even know that flagging isn’t dirty. Hikaru lost his lead 5 games before that pause. Since the point it was tied, Magnus is the one who threw. He choked big time. He had 5 straight winning positions and threw all of them except when Hikaru hung a knight. Hikaru’s just too tenacious in bad positions. Look at the 14-14 game. Look at the eval bar. Look at the position. Hikaru found a way. Brilliant. Even Magnus was totally impressed.

man sad to see this change in magnus's psychology few years ago he would have been angry about the loss and tried to avenge it but now he just outright said nakamura is superior in bullet. He is underestimating his own skills he has adopted alireza in bullet which nakamura hasn't really tough to see this change in him.

Magnus would never be that upset to lose to someone better then him. Hikaru is the GOAT of Bullet. Even 5 years ago Hikaru would smack him. Hikaru isn’t even at his peak in this format

This isn't chess, this is gimmick chess. Magnus never plays bullet and he still got to the final and almost won. Hikaru is good but the levels are not even close.
