I’m not going to get into Gwen sensing miles from another universe showcasing their bond/connection. But people don’t realise that before she even went in miles room. When his dad came home. Gwen turned pink because she thought miles would be with him and was going to confess everything to miles like her true feelings for him and how badly she messed up.

ITSV: miles has a little crush Gwen but from the bus scene Miles gives gwen affection and understanding that makes Gwen happy. From that scene and throughout the movie, u can see she develops feelings based on her interactions and the way she looks at him. I like ending which is Gwen staring at the photo which shows the impact miles has on her. ATSV: Miles draws her and Gwen plays the drums because they can’t stop thinking about each other, keeps the photo of them because it’s a natural treasure as it is meaningful to her. both understand each other emotionally, connect personally, almost kiss, both are jealous of each other and are always there for each other. Gwen turns pink around miles in four scenes which indicates her love for him. I think while watching these movies so many times. Gwen loves miles more because I like to think while her father is her purpose on why she wears the mask as a badge. Miles is the reason that she continues being spider women by keeping the photo because it gives her meaning to keep on going. Plus I think that while Gwen said it’s all possible she was thinking of the first time for everything line that miles gave her based on their relationship and breaking that canon event based on breaking her father’s. BTSV: Phil lord said that we are going to see how miles is going to see this betrayal as affirmative. With Chris miller saying that we will focus on mile’s emotional growth by exploring his deep relationships with Peter, his parents and ofc mostly Gwen. Can’t wait for the third movie.

And what I mean by that is Gwen is going to confess that she was forbidden going to see him explain that she broke her father’s canon event which Miles proved that he was right, and most importantly she going to confess her true feelings to him. In summary, he is going to find agreement on why she joined the society. Plus miles just knows Miguel’s side of the story. He doesn’t know Gwen’s.

For example, Miles now has new friends, the Venom symbiote (perhaps if they add it) merged with our Miles and he became cruel and will arrange an unexpected attack on Gwen’s team, then Miles the Tramp says “it’s time for revenge,” as if Gwen was an obedient dog for Miguel, so Miles will become an obedient dog for his double.

I don’t think the writers are going to something unexpected because they don’t have to do that. When comes to miles and Gwen’s relationship the writers are going to keep it simple but yet have complex. Now Margo will be a character will make Gwen jealous because of miles being a little friendly to her and hobie is also going to make miles jealous but I think he is going to help miles and Gwen’s relationship because I think he is the only one that knows that Gwen has feelings for miles. And what I also mean is that miles in the beginning when he sees Gwen again he will act cold and angry at her because he feels betrayed. But throughout the movie they are going to reconcile and Gwen will be the one that I think will express her feelings to him first or maybe the writers will wait till the end with both confessing or have a kiss to confirm that they are couple. All I know is about miles and Gwen’s relationship they going to go emotionally deep with a satisfying conclusion. Which means they will get together.

But he will come to understand why she did what she did and how, as mixed up as it was, she did it out of both love and fear. A love that could not stand to hurt him or destroy his hope and confidence in himself, and a fear for his well being and that of his universe. I think what Lord & Miller meant by "affirmative" is that Miles was going to take this terrible betrayal that happened to him and, instead of let it push him away from Gwen and Peter, will turn it towards good in some way. The end result will be a stronger bond b/w him and Gwen, since now they will be facing each other, for the first time knowing the real person about whom they care so much. Not the amazing young spider-man who needs to be protected, not the idealized and perfect young Spider-Woman who can do no wrong. Just two flawed, awkward teens doing the best they can, who can screw up just as much as anyone else, but who love each other anyway.

I would say Miles has a more secure attachment style so it's not that he loves Gwen less but he doesn't fear losing Gwen or thinks he's not worthy of her. On the other hand, Gwen shows all signs of avoidant attachment and so she fears intimacy, vulnerability and being hurt once more if she allows herself to love again (this is why her "no no no no no" line in Mumbahttan is so important and shouldn't have been removed) she's so scared of losing Miles yet she loves him more than anything. He gives her hope. Can't wait to see those two reconcile in Beyond ❤️🌻

THANK YOU 🙏🙏, I don’t like the notion where Gwen loves miles more than miles loves Gwen because it just sounds so weird to try and compare their feelings for each other, (although of course by the end of the movie it’s probably true BUT), this comment rlly sums it up, Miles is having to deal with a lot on his plate with being in an advanced school, his parents, and oh the BEING SPIDERMAN, even though Gwen also had a lot on her plate she seemed to have more free time than him especially after joining spider society. Gwen didn’t have a lot going for her when we saw her in her own dimension, her life seemed pretty static, meanwhile miles is dealing with new events and challenges on a daily basis. I personally believe that Miles just hasn’t had a lot of time or space to do the whole “I spend every waking moment thinking about ____” while Gwen does. Spider people always lie to those they love. Literally every single time. It's part of their entire lore of having an alter ego. The notion she doesn't love miles because she lied is just silly. Gwen is down bad for sure, more than he is at this point. And she will go to war to prove it to him. Part of the point of these movies is Miles rejecting the very notion that a Spider-Man story always ends with him losing someone he loves. Ah when you say, "in all the other Spider-Man movies, this tragic thing that makes him suffer happens" I think you can place a bet that this Spider-Man story intends to subvert that particular trope. Miles is going to go through hell, but he's going to keep Gwen and his family alive. This one time at least, Spider-Man will get his happy ending.

1. In ITSV, Gwen was in miles world a week before the others and also her spider senses told her to head to visions academy to meet miles because she is connected to him. Where Gwen volunteered to stop the collider and stay in his world, to spend more time with miles. But anyway, in that scene the others glitched but Gwen didn’t which shows that her atoms were able to adjust and there is no Gwen Stacy variant in miles world. 2. In ATSV, their colour pallets were able to merge in his world when they were on their swing date and also there happened to be an infinity symbol when Gwen was saying goodbye. Both of these scenes show again they are connected across the spiderverse. 3. In the comics of earth-8, Gwen is not originally from earth-8. Which means she met miles in a multiverse conflict. They are both part of a team and are married and have kids. In the two movies, Miles and Gwen are from separate universes but met at a multiverse conflict. They were both part of a team in the first and most likely be part of a team in the third. Now what about them getting married and having kids, that is not impossible because in the comics spider ham appears to be the uncle of their kids and who is miles and Gwen close to in the movies, spider ham. And there is a scene in ATSV where they both looked at each other when Peter b showed photos of mayday. And earth-8 is implied to be the future of earth-65. And there happened to be an eight in the background as well when Gwen was saying good bye. 4. Lastly, BTSV will focus on miles and Gwen relationship more emotionally deep. To add both emotional growth in both characters. And there will be a satisfying conclusion. How will their worlds merge I don’t know but maybe it will maybe because of the spot being too powerful and it’s because he has the power of multiverse at the palm of his hand which may include merging worlds together. But I don’t know all I knows is that it is indicating they will get together and I believe that the creators, writers, directors and producers are following the earth-8 storyline between the miles and Gwen. Now I know people are going to say but earth- 8 is alternate universe but what if there is no earth-8 until their world merge, I mean an 8 being in earth1610 may show that their world will merge. And look at the Gwen Stacy canon event it doesn’t end well in other universes, but miles first time for everything line and Gwen thinking of that line and telling his parents it’s all possible.

I guess miles is the only one that understands her emotionally, mentally and physically and connects with her personally. Hobie was there for Gwen when she missed miles and I guess she had no one but miles who was her only meaningful connection she had in her life. The reason why hobie stayed in the society was because he was looking out for his drummer (Gwen) and for miles he helped him escape by helping him discover his powers. Looking at this comment I agree with it but I also think hobie was a brother to both miles and Gwen and played an important role in their relationship. Yep that’s exactly how I saw it the first time in the theatre. You forgot mikes was jealous of who hooby was at first. Ya so many emotions in the movie. It took me three times to go through it. I saw all this off the bat it’s there faces that give it away. But ya at the end the way she looks at miles. That was the look of them being at the same place. The first time I saw it I was lol mad and on mikes side really feeling that betrayal. The second time I was kinda just focused on the other characters like the India guy and ya. Then I try to focus on Miguel. Actually I loved the spot also felt things for him actually. Ya no matter what though ya Gwen is kinda a stand alone person doing her own thing. Well in earth-8 Gwen was not originally from that world and it ended happily. And since miles is the original anomaly. It means that there is no other miles variant that is Spider-Man in another world. In summary, since Miles is the original anomaly which means there is no variant of himself that is Spider-Man in any other world. After all that tension and build-up, I really doubt that they won't 😂, but anything can happen in Beyond the Spider-Verse. However, honestly, given that they've been building their relationship since the first movie in 2018, and we don't know yet when Beyond is going to be released, but if it's 2026, 2027, or 2028, it will be more than 7 years of creating and putting all that drama, slow burn, and beautiful love story to just make them hold hands? That's why I think it's very unlikely, although there's always a little chance of nothing happening, which, if it happens, would definitely be a huge letdown for the movie.

That's why Miles and Gwen's relationship of built up I can believe and take seriously because there are certain qualities about the other that the other is drawn to; something that is either missing from their lives or a pain in their current lives that seems to healed by the other's influence. Many built up of relationships I can never take seriously these days. For example, Aang and Katara from avatar. That relationship I can't take seriously and their development to get together is so cliche and predictable. Why is Gwen drawn to Miles? Gwen avoids friends because she is afraid that getting an attachment would further out that person in harm's way. She refuses to confront her father and follows the spider society to not only escape her father but to she believes that since her father's fate is coming she follows the society blindly. It is until miles does something that Gwen never did: Take a chance to not believe that the canon is 100 percent fate and should allow to happen. After her father quits and won't be captain it is that moment that miles' way to take action would not guarantee the canon as 100 perfect supposed to be. Miles making her realize that is one of the contributing factors as to why she is drawn to him.

Canon event in movie is basically something that should happen and you can't interrupt or try to avoid it if you do interrupt it might destroy that universe and it will be canon event disrupted, although it's unclear if canon events are real or not I personally believe that is not real ,but the next movie will probably explore more about it, that's why it's said canon event disrupted when miles saved the captain. Miguel fully believes that you shouldn't disrupt a Canon event and thats what causes all the conflicts in the movie. I hope that helped 👍

I know that Spider Byte and Spider-Punk are very important to the story, but the creators likely used them to delve into the jealousy between Miles and Gwen, and it worked perfectly. Miles was the one that friendzone her in the first movie. ITSV ends with Gwen having to developed feelings for him and miles having a crush on her. In the second film, Gwen turns pink every time when she was around miles. Acted awkward when she arrived to his world at first but then acted cool because she discovered he felt the same way about her. Plus, she thinks he is amazing ( which is one of the closest things we get to see about Gwen’s true feelings for him). In the art book it is said that Gwen wants to be with him. In summary, she is more in love with him because she makes so obvious based on the way she is around him, facial expressions and the way she talks to him.

About Gwen and Hobie's relationship, he is more of an older brother to her and Miles. Hobie is the most supportive character in the movie. Gwen was homeless, and he helped her out by letting her crash in his dimension sometimes, and also because she was his drummer. He did the same thing with Miles - he taught him how to use his electric powers and supported him all the way through. Initially, Hobie was introduced as a rival to Miles, but it was the completely opposite - he was more of a supportive character in the movie. Regarding the comics, the creators of the Spider-Verse are improving on the comics in Miles and Gwen's relationship. It is very unlikely that they will follow the same pattern in the movies. Their love story is much more natural and well-developed in the movies, so the chances of them getting together are very high. (Sorry if it was too long 😅)

And I believe that the creators wanted to add some tension before introducing Hobie to the scene, which worked perfectly. Hobie probably knows Gwen's feelings for Miles, and he teases him in that moment. If you pay attention, he is looking at Miles while saying that, to see his reaction. 😂 The writing in this movie is fantastic.
