In regards to the pumpkin, I think the size of sideshow is better. I think it's closer to scale. The Tots pumpkin is just more spot on accurate with its design and lighting. The sideshow pumpkin looks cool, but it looks like something out of a Scooby doo episode. I think both accessories have their pros and cons, specially the Bob sheet, in which sideshow does a lot better with. I only own Tots for now though. Great video, Spot!!

Sideshow Collectibles: The tombstone is thicker. It has a nice texture and it simulates the appearance of marble, slate or granite. The glasses look more like 1/6th glasses. Bob's sheet does a better job of draping naturally. TOTS: The pumpkin looks more like a 1/6th scale pumpkin. It has a nice texture. The light pulsates instead of being solid. The Rotary Phone is complete, which looks way better than just having a receiver and cord. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another wonderful video. I really appreciate the continued hard work!

aside from weapons, coveralls, and pumpkins, I would love to see some alternate heads in the future releases especially with different heads of the past figures like the pink mask from Halloween 4 and the Brute mask from Halloween 5. for the upcoming figures, I'd love to see a Ben Tramer head for Halloween II and a both a bluish gray mask as well as a Theatrical Cut bleeding goo head for Halloween 6.

Spot. I’ve had an awful experience with this. But if you look at tots tombstone, it’s almost like the facility painted the wrong side. The dirt strip and the correct stone looking paint is in the blank side. The tots pack was an absolute botched disaster.

Interesting review. I agree with you on the pumpkin. TOTS looks better and more realistic. But I'm surprised you preferred the TOTS tombstone. The Sideshow tombstone blows it away.

looking at the TOTS coveralls in that lighting, I actually think it looks more accurate since it is charcoal which I would argue is the true color of the coveralls based on how it looks during the day shots in the original film.

I 'really' wanted to get the tots accessory pack. But besides the phone and pumpkin, they botched it up pretty bad. The coveralls were advertised as spruce green too originally and the Bob the ghost sheet reminds me of a cobras head. Sadly purchasing the Sideshow as I feel the quality is just better overall, with the slight downfall being the headsculpt. I'll use the sheet to cover up the tots.

Nice video spot i will buy the TOTS set as soon as it is available to me and I consider it to be a better option but they really dropped the ball, it's sad that they had the perfect opportunity in their hands and they missed it even though it was not well executed the glasses are fine as Bob's are not brown are tortoise and that's what they were going for so it doesn't bother me, but it's sad that to make the bob sheet look right you have to touch up and get rid of all glue around the face area and loose the sheet yourself, also the tombstone needs some paint work can't believe that even being smaller the mezco one12 tombstone is still the best one specially cause it is the only one to have the right flower pattern.

Wouldn't mind having the tots set, but for 90 dollars!? Thats almost the price of a figure! Its probably worth about 40 maybe 50

I think I would , if I could , put the TOTS cloth suit on the Sideshow figuer first of all and then see what the sheet looks like . I like your idea about loosening the sheet from the TOTS MM head . You can even take it completely apart and drape the sheet over EITHER figure . TOTS sheet holes look bad . As for the Jack - o - lanterns , I like the TOTS one way more but it could've been a little larger . The TOTS one even ha the eye holes movie accurate as the left " eye " is shaped, pun intended , like MMs head silloete , just like in the movie !! The headstone from Sideshow way better and screen accurate but taller and with a post bottom would have been better !! I DO like asaccessories with the figure better depending on the prices which you failed to mention . Great review though .

one thing I'd love for TOTS to do with the same exact mold of the H1 figure, which even they loved the idea from the email I sent them, is to make a retro 6 bit version of Michael Myers based on the way he looked in the Atari 2600 video game. they could even expand on Neca's 6 bit figures and have the packaging in the style of the video game box art with the Atari chip tune version of the Halloween theme every time you open the window display. a great way to promote this is to also create a 6 bit version mask as well for those who want to dress up as 6 bit Michael Myers for Halloween.

TOTS wins with the very accurate if slightly undersized pumpkin and nicely detailed phone (although a slightly longer cord would have made it perfect), but I really can’t understand your POV on the tombstone and Bob sheet. Yes the TOTS tombstone is scaled more accurately, and neither has gotten the floral accent right (although I’d argue the TOTS scribble barely counts as a serious effort), but everything else about Sideshow’s is vastly better: the type and the finishing especially. Look at the TOTS tombstone when you pick it up in the video, the paint job actually makes it look like it’s been blurred. And the type isn’t just engraved shallower, parts of the serifs on several letters are missing and some letters are thicker than others. The gray color is more accurate to the lighting in the movie scene, but otherwise it looks like it belongs with the cartoon Sideshow pumpkin. But what I truly don’t understand is why you are trying so hard to make the TOTS Bob sheet sound like it’s anything other than a disaster in every way: the glued head, giant eyes, wired edges, wrong scale… and even the thicker fabric makes no sense. It’s a sheet, not a blanket, so the lighter Sideshow material is actually much more accurate and drapes like a real sheet does, with thinner and more numerous folds. My Sideshow sheet drapes exactly like the movie scene and I literally wouldn’t change a thing about it. The incredible inconsistencies in accuracy and quality from one piece to the other in the TOTS set is truly baffling: how are some pieces so good (including the incredibly painted and detailed hands) while others look like they either didn’t try at all (tombstone) or really over complicated things (the sheet). And it is frustrating that in the end, even after I bought both and cherry picked the best of the accessories, I still have to stick with the Doggie Doc custom tombstone to get an accurately scaled and designed tombstone and this piece should have been extremely easy: there are great reference photos, one of the contributing artists to the TOTS set actually already produces a very accurate tombstone and TOTS actually produces a super accurate life-sized replica they could have simply used the design from. In my opinion there is no excuse for this one piece not being great and none of us should let TOTS slide on this so that hopefully in the future they do better.

While not executed well with gluing the sheet to the entire front of the heads face, I prefer the TOTs material used for Bobs sheet more than Sideshows, for displaying it doesnt always work to use the same fabric on a smaller scale that was used for the full size piece in the movie, just because it was a sheet in the movie, doesn't mean it would look as good on a smaller figure. The TOTS material does better at not being wrinkled and because its a more heavier material it would drape better on the figure, plus you can get in there and crease and fold the parts to the sheet to get it closer to the movie, the lighter material for Sideshows while it does better capture the look of a bed sheet, you sometimes have to use different materials for Sixth Scale figures so you're going more for the posed look and lighting hitting it than matching same materials, why also in some cases plastic molded hair translates to a better displayed figure than rooted hair. ...hope that makes sense

But my point was not simply that the lighter material better matches the original material, but that I have personally tried both and as the photo at instagram.com/p/CYPYmdvl_vb/ shows, the Sideshow sheet does a superior job of reproducing the scene from the movie. The heavier TOTS material creates larger fold lines that make it obvious that you are looking at a scale figure.
