Honestly, an American Christmas is a good balance to our Mexican celebration. My husband is a 3rd generation Mexican American. His family have adapted more American customs. We usually go to my family’s very traditional Mexican Christmas on the 24th and the following day we go to his family’s for a more intimate and chill dinner. I find value in both types of Christmas celebrations.
