All people sin. Sin is bad. Therefore-All people are bad. During the pandemic I went through all the coffee cans of nuts bolts and screws because of the lockdown. Once that was done I went back to work on my Jeep. In old jeeps all the bolts are rusty and the threads are pitted. In that project I didn’t have to run out for bolts because of going through all those cans and sorting out the nuts and bolts. Anyway once I sorted them out I put them in those parts cabinets like you showed in the video. I did so much work there while isolated that I still know where the stuff is in those organizers. I also learned to look first before running the hardware store. Now if I do go, I buy more than I need to save future trips. I’ll stop now because my arm is sore from patting myself on the back. Nice chisel. I love your side eye dog, by the way.

John, for labeling the catch-all drawers, i use small post-it notes. Cut to fit, if needed. Write on the sticky side and apply from the inside of the drawer. Use different colors to identify/group similar type items. Clean surface with isopropyl alcohol before applying. Bonus tip: use small size post-it notes as insert labels for hanging file folders. No cutting required and the adhesive keeps the label in place. Again, use different colors to identify/group similar type subjects.

Those hardware drawers are a treasure. I have had a hardware compulsion since I was a boy. I used to collect all nails, bolts, nuts and screws when I was walking to school or out with my friends. I always gave them to my dad who was an engineer. He graciously accepted them and it wasn’t until I was about 15 years old when I found he was tossing them into the garbage as soon as my back was turned. He’s been gone now for over 20 years but I still collect hardware from all things I dismantle. I recall building sites were a treasure trove for hardware until the politicians made it compulsory to fence off all construction sites. Thanks for the memories.

Those different size corks you found, especially the small ones come in handy when spray painting things with threaded holes in them. New sub to the channel - glad to have found it... I'm a woodworker but love restoring old tools, weather they're for machinery or wood doesn't matter. Got a big backlog of vids to watch here!! I've definitely got the "tool collector" gene. To answer that question in the start, I actually agree with old Google, I'd say around 5% or less! My original little hometown of Westfield Pa was hit hard as were the little towns around Addison, New York where i spent my later childhood years. Good/Bad is not a binary situation. I think we all have some good and some bad. The duality of man, so to speak. I try to be kind and unselfish but I have not always been that way in every situation. There are, however some people who are bad all the time. Sociopaths, narcissists, murderers and molesters... I think (hope) that those numbers are relatively small. Maybe they're not. ☹ Good lord that chisel is beautiful. I know I say it often but you are SO DAMN GOOD at using that flap disc. Love the transformation.

John as a cop of 26 years is very difficult to answer that question since it's very broad and not specific, bad is a general term most people are good in nature and even if we all are capable of good and evil the percentage of doing bad things as a whole in society is small so is the reason that at any given day there's a few officers patrolling when there might be thousands and thousands of citizens in any given city. With that being said, it is so complicated because it is also divided by communities some communities are more prone to be "bad" due to their upbringing , morals and culture .

Hey señor Juan, humans are opportunistic and gregarious. Most people would not do bad stuff, but if the opportunity shows and there is no reprecotions, people would break all rules. If the opportunity shows and there is a bounch of people and it means "nobody is guilty or every is", then anarchy is on sight. By the way, half of the serial killer you show, were in the service, Ted Bundy was in the scouts, Gacy liked to dress as a clown to visit kids in hospitals, Richard Ramirez was trained by his cousin who saw action in Vietnam as part of the green berets. Ed Kemper's mother used to work at the same university her child was killing co-eds. Saludos señot.

So 15% pure bad liars, 25% that know truth but lie or make excuses for lies. Then 60% that are good. As far as what some folks consider parasites. I know a buskers. Bad people are bad because they are cowards. When they were little, they became afraid to be emotionally close to people, so anything that reminds them of being close, they cut that off right away with all their bad behaviors. Upsetting others becomes their way of ‘connecting’ to other people. Good people are good because they connect emotionally with others. And that feels so good, they don’t want to risk losing that by being evil. Evil people have nothing to lose by being evil.

I have labeled two complete workshops with it. Lydia has labeled files for the Sisters Pof St Joseph at Nazareth, MI. She was the receptionist, Activities Director, and bookkeeper. Good and bad are subjective terms. People we agree with are much more likely to be placed in our good category. Since we are all sinners we carry the seed of bad behavior. It only needs a bit of inattention to sprout. I like to think that the 97% number is a good description of the world. I try not to be too critical of people as long as they are trying to do the right thing.

Where we are, there are lots of green spaces, and garbage cans & poop bag dispensers, and a lot of dogs to walk. There are a few people who let their dogs poop anywhere and don't bother picking it up. There are a few people, like me, just pick up poop, our dog or not. What really bugs me are the scads of people who walk right past the poop and other trash, and pretend they don't see it. "Not mine, not gonna touch it." Maniacs! We might have trashy neighbors, but that doesn't mean the neighborhood needs to be trashy, right? So, to answer your question, "goodness" in people is distributed on a bell curve; a few really bad outliers on one end, a few good outliers on the other, and the vast hump in the middle full of people who don't much care for anything that's not themselves. They're not actively bad, but not putting out energy for others, either. And good job on the chisel. You're the maestro of the flap disk. Your poor 1x30 is feeling lonely!
